Thermal Paste, SYY 2 Grams CPU Paste Thermal

UPDATE - 5/5/2025 - I have tested even more pastes now including 17 different kinds Thee absolute best are in order as follows: Airhut GX-14, JunPus DX1 Nano Diamond Thermal Grease, SYY 157, Polar Therm and the rest are margin of error. get the Airhut GX-14 or JunPus DX1 for absolute best temps, espoecially the GX-14 EDIT/UPDATE - 03/16/2025 Alright yall so I have an update. I have tested even more thermal paste brands. I have added 6 more brands to my testing as seen below. And I can confidently say that this paste SYY 157 is by far the best. This paste on average holds temperatures 3-4 degrees colder then all of these brands in the pictures I posted, with some being even more then that. I am on the hunt for thee absolute best thermal paste there is so I will update once I find more. Also I may start a YouTube channel in the future to give more detailed numbers and testing benchmarks. However the SYY 157 Paste is the best of all these and the price is really good also. Do not pay a bunch for the "big name" brands there are better pastes for a lot less. In order out of all these pastes in the pictures the best I have tested are as follows: SYY 157, Polar Therm, Maxtor CTG8, Kingpin KPX, Noctua NT-H2, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme, and the rest of margin of error. You want the best, at least out of these SYY 157 and Polar Therm for sure. These tests were done on a Intel 285K - Z890 Ace - Lian Li Galahad II Lite - (note the galahad II lite is a beastly cooler and is my new top rated 360mm AIO previously was the EK Nucleus 360cr which I still use on my second setup.) So I test all different types of thermal paste. Currently I have a test bench w/ a 14900K and then my main PC is a Core Ultra 9 285K and I have been using Kingpin KPX which is a great paste however to my amazement this paste is holding lower temps by a significant amount about 4 degree C. I have a variety of different top tier pastes as you can see in the pictures they all perform very well. But honestly this paste is holding at idle and full load a lower temp. My second would be Kingpin followed by Noctua NT-H2 then the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme. The Kryonaut is way overpriced though so I would ovoid this one and will once this jar is gone. This paste is cheap and it is outperforming the rest! I think I found my new go to all day use paste. Tip: For those who don't know a little trick is spread the paste evenly onto the CPU and then let it sit on the CPU for about 5-10 min then put the AIO on. I find this gives a lot better results and temps. Tip: I have found spreading the paste evenly on the CPU and leaving it there for 3-5 min before putting on the AIO provides the best results. Also if you don't like spreading the paste the next best is the 5 dot and do not use a lot your temps will be lower if you use too much past it shouldn't seep out the sides off the CPU when you remove the AIO just put a small dot in the middle and smaller dots in each corner of the CPU. I purchased this to replace the thermal paste that comes pre applied on the cooler I bought, and I’ve been very impressed with this product. Personally, I didn’t bother looking through all the pictures because I thought “it’s just thermal paste, who cares what it looks like”, so I didn’t realize that for the $5 and some change I paid, the company also included the smoothing spatula and also an alcohol wipe to clean off old thermal paste. This was incredibly convenient. Very unexpected for the price considering some competing products charge up to $5 more just for the spreading tool, which isn’t completely necessary to use, but is fantastic they included for those who do use it. Along with these accessories, they also included a very straight forward instruction pamphlet. A very great bargain overall. The thermal pastes itself works just as you’d imagine from the more overpriced competing brands, it’ll help keep you running efficiently. In my computer I have a 5600X using a be quiet! 280mm AIO and with this thermal paste my idle temps are 47c, and under load I’m looking at 57-65c depending on the graphical intensity of the games. I’m very happy with the performance of the compound, and also the great value added on by the included accessories. I would purchase this again when I need more thermal paste.

It is a little thick, but I like that because you have to use less for better thermal conductivity. My cpu idle temps are great, I'd say maybe about 3° less than what I formerly used. Hitting a good 34°C on idle on my I7 3770 and load never goes up past 65°C on a stock cooler and that is all thanks to this thermal paste. I care about having my temps low, but I don't really spend the time comparing which thermal paste is best (they're usually like 2°C apart for better or for worse), I just know that this stuff works. The 15.7W/m-k thermal conductivity caught my eye so I just thought it was the best. Pros: I love that it came with • A spatula for spreading the paste • A plastic clear cut out to put over the processor for a nice, square application of thermal paste • Grease Cleaner wipe for old thermal paste •White plastic rectangular card for the thermal application process as well (I didn't require this but I'm willing to bet it is most likely for creating a boundary on each side of the processor so that the spatula won't spread paste on the sides of the processor) Cons: None All packaged in one nice little baggy. This is a better deal then other "name brands" so don't think twice, treat yourself to this thermal paste!

Just got this paste and I immediately did my finger test before applying it to my MXM (GTX 1070 TDP modded 230W) video card, and noticed it was thick while not being overly thick, but had all the qualities of Thermalright TFX once it was spread fully on my finger tip, without being so thick! So I applied it on my laptop video card, and it came out of the syringe easily, and I spread it with the spatula. Compared to TFX, it spread so much easier. It took a lot less effort to get the entire GPU die nice and coated, while it still had the same qualities that make TFX such a good paste. It was still nice and thick, just not overly thick like TFX. I was VERY impressed by how it spread. It had the absolute perfect balance between being a thick paste and being easy to apply. It performs exactly the same as TFX in early testing. The big winner here is the price. If this paste maintains the durability of TFX, we have a winner here! TFX is $40 for 6.2g in USA, $26 for 6.2g from China, and ZF-EX (the same paste) is about 32 for 8 grams. $12 for 8 grams of SYY is a must buy and an instant no-brainer. Highly recommended.

I have used countless pastes in the 15+ years I've built and refurbished PCs and game consoles and I can honestly say this is about as good as they get. Is it hard to work with and spread? It can be, yes, but its nowhere as difficult as some others have made it out to be and this viscosity helps curb excess pumpout. Is it really 15.7 w/mk? Hell if I know, all companies base those values on different things. What I can say, is it is on par with the top shelf TIMs on the market today, and, imo, beats the hell out of the more expensive ones like Kryonaut, less maybe Prolimatech and Kingpin, but the difference is nominal. Where THIS paste excels is in thermal rebound, where it is fantastic! If your equipment runs at, say, 60°c at idle, and you put it under load up to 70°, the moment you take that load away your temps will go back to idle temps within a handful of seconds. That is something ive only ever seen in a VERY few pastes and LM if it's applied correctly. Hopefully, the manufacturer doesn't decide to change anything for the worse, because, this is a very good cost-to-performance paste!

I purchased a replacement fan for my Lenovo Yoga that I've had for about 5 years. Since I use the laptop frequently, the fan had finally worn down and need to be replaced. This thermal paste works perfectly with this fan replacement. There is plenty of paste for the task. Instructions were easy to follow. The kit came with some prep pads (wet and dry) to clean the surface before applying paste. It is advised that after you apply and spread the paste, wait at least 15 minutes before attaching the fan. Laptop is working like brand new! No fan noise nor overheating.

Ho applicato questa pasta termica da qualche mese, quindi non posso ancora esprimermi sulla sua resa a lunghissimo termine o valutare quanto ci metterà a seccarsi. Posso però confermare che, fin dal primo utilizzo, i risultati sono stati eccezionali: le temperature si sono abbassate notevolmente e rimangono ottime e stabili anche quando il PC è sotto sforzo. La vera marcia in più di questo prodotto, e il motivo per cui merita 5 stelle piene, è la cura per i dettagli e l'attenzione verso l'utente. Non ti vendono solo il classico tubetto, ma un vero e proprio kit che ti facilita immensamente il lavoro. All'interno si trovano infatti: Un fazzoletto apposito per pulire in un attimo e senza fatica i residui della vecchia pasta termica incrostata. Una comodissima paletta per spalmare la nuova pasta in modo uniforme e omogeneo. Una bustina anti-umidità per conservare il tubetto al meglio in vista di futuri utilizzi. In sintesi: fa benissimo il suo lavoro a livello di dissipazione termica e ti fornisce tutto il necessario per fare un'applicazione pulita e professionale. Super consigliata

Jestem pod wrażeniem ta pasta spowodowała że temperatura na CPU spadła o około 10 stopni w porównaniu do mx4. nie spodziewałem się czegoś takiego bo tak taniej paście tym bardziej że w cenie 20 kilku złotych można dostać 10 g produktu. Obecnie procesor ma 34 stopnie co jest wręcz śmiesznym wynikiem gdzie mój procesor to jest 18-rdzeniowy 36 wątkowy xeon który pobiera bardzo dużo prądu bo ma tdp na poziomie 145 w i przy maksymalnym obciążeniu procesora to 64 stopnie.
