Fantastic quality. Extremely spacious and solid build. I sprayed with some leather protectant for my kiddo getting on and off the bus during the rainy season, and the water easily beads off. She had a water bottle leak in the bag, and it completely dried out with no long term damage whatsoever. The straps are padded, the zippers are smooth and substantial, no complaints.

Beautiful and durable
I'm very pleasantly surprised with this backpack. It is very beautiful and fun and great for daily use. but the quality of back, stitches and straps as in high-quality travel backpack. So it's very comfortable even with fully loaded and probably won't tear or wear off in a long time.

Love this bag! I have the large size and it’s great as well but this one is a cute purse and definitely a conversation starter.

Excellent quality after 9+ years
I bought my first two of these backpacks for my kids when they were about 8 & 10. Now they’re 17 & 19 and, after LOTS of weekend and roadtrip use over the years, we decided they’d had enough. Structurally they were still solid (zippers, pulls, and pockets in good shape), but the colored leather had peeled off the spikes over the years. My son asked for a new one for Christmas and was thrilled they’re still available and pretty much exactly like his original MadPak. The new one is going just as strong after 8 months and he loves it.

Best backpack ever!
This backpack was beyond magical for my daughter in fourth grade! She is unique, and this was ugh a backpack that no other kid in school has ever had. Or we've ever seen so yeah, I love that it's held up for the whole year with no problems at all. A little bit heavy but that doesn't get her down. Lol.
