I've never done embroidery in my life but I saw someone doing it on a cruise I recently went on. It looked like so much fun! I was so intrigued and wanted to try it myself. I ordered the ETSPIL kit and it is absolutely perfect for a beginner! I love, love, love the guided YouTube videos that are made specifically for the pattern you are working on! Im a visual learner and the YouTube video instructions are phenomenal. The kit comes with EVERYTHING you need!! Im really enjoying learning all of the stitches and Im super excited to have found a new hobby that brings me such pleasure, joy and relaxation. Oh, did I mention that the box it comes in is so pretty? I sometimes I find myself just looking at the box and admiri g its beauty. I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful and well thought out embroidery kit!

I am so happy to have found this excellent kit. All the materials are top quality. And the instructions are extensive and easy to follow. There is some information in the manual that comes with the kit and complete and detailed instruction online. I could not have asked for more! And at an excellent price. The producer of this kit offers other combinations of designs. I picked this one for the colors of the fabric and the design. I like that the three together spell out "ENJOY YOUR LIFE." What I discovered after starting the first design: 1. Good quality cotton fabric, a tight even weave. 2. The needles that come with the kit are, for me, difficult to thread. I decided to pull out some tapestry needles that I use for cross stitch on Aida cloth. I find it very easy to thread tapestry needles and they come in various sizes and will accommodate the different counts of floss. However, because of the tight weave of the fabric, it is easier to stitch with the provided high quality and very sharp Milliners needles. After some trial and error, I realized I could use a single, doubled strand of floss for stitches that require two strands and two and three strands doubled when four and six strands are called for. 3. The floss feels smooth and strong and does not tangle. The colors are clear and consistent. 4. The fabric feels good on and off the hoop. It was easy to iron out the folds ... The video states that ironing the fabric is not necessary. I always iron fabric before putting it in a hoop as a matter of habit. 5. The pattern on all three colors of fabric is clear and the lines are crisp. Very, very highly recommend this kit!

This is a nice kit. Comes with everything you need to get started. The youtube instructions were really helpful as the written instructions were a bit hard to follow.

Absolutely brilliant! Easy to follow instructions and the video that comes along with it is very helpful too! The only drawback is that I am missing a seam cutter in my kit.

For starters I got this kit because of the pattern and I wanted to learn the basic stitches. I am a complete beginner this is the first pattern I used and here are three tips I would recommend. 1. Use the bigger eyed needle for easier use the little threader broke I was recommended to fix it with hot glue or another type of glue but when I switched the needle out I didn't need the threader. 2. The thread is cute that it comes with but when I switched the DMC branded thread it went a lot smoother. 3. I would recommend watching the youtube video on a laptop while you do the stiches so you can pause it. The video is excellent. I gave it 5 star because the cost of the kit is 100% worth it. It came with the floss, needles, instructions, 3 patterns, 1 ring. The ring works really well I will end up using it again for other projects. I love the video too the that they have that goes with it. This was a great value for what it was. I would consider buying it again and recommend it for a starter. The ink on the pattern is washable so if you don't want it saying S1 or something and you only wanted the stitches like myself you can wash that other part off. I would recommend waiting until you did the entire embroidery because if you do it on part of it the entire thing will disappear. They have multiple warnings of this on the packaging. Great product very happy with it.

I purchased this kit after purchasing my sisters each one for Christmas. They love them, and I wanted to join in on the learning and fun. It's been one of those small hobby projects that I have now started doing at night after the kids are in bed. I'm learning new stitches, as I only knew how to haphazardly patch sew things. Being able to look up the videos with handy QR codes that show you exactly how to do each stitch has been extremely helpful! I'm really enjoying having something small to do that doesn't have a timeframe, and isn't stressful. The quality of all the tools is great, especially for a begginer. This was a great gift, and is now a great little hobby!

None of the 16 embroidery needles, needle threader and seam ripper were included. Couldn't even get started. Major disappointment.

Vem com um manual ensinando os pontos. Muito bom.

This was ok. Educational but the intro has you fighting thread for hours. I wanted to give up before I even really got started.
