Ok so I'm using these for weaving not nalbinding but I love them! The longer one is so nice for tabby weave, and I'll be using the short one for edge finishing. The needles both feel so nice and smooth that even through a warp that is arguably pulled too taut, the needle glides right through. The tip shape is perfect and doesn't stab through threads, it easily scoots around them. Excellent price, super durable. What's not to love?

These are absolutely beautiful and sturdy for loom weaving. They are smooth and great to use with my small looms.

Had to round out the horn needle with a dremel since the tip was still a bit blunt and blocky but overall good quality. Seen a few reviews saying these are plastic but it didn't seem like it to me, didn't react to the dremel like plastic would

I've seen some negative reviews for this claim that they are plastic. The white one that I received at least I am 100% sure is bone. It is much harder than any plastic I've ever felt, and it has a distinct natural translucence and look that you don't get from plastic. I am not so certain that the black one is real horn and not plastic but I tried biting it to make a dent and had to bite very hard to make even a slight dent so it is very hard all things considered and that isn't even evidence that it is plastic. Horn is made of keratin which is the same thing fingernails and claws are made of so it is possible to dent like this, same as fingernail but harder. The unpolished surfaces inside of the holes definitely look like horn pieces I've seen in the past, plastic tends to not sand/grind like that. I feel comfortable saying I'm 99% sure it is real horn. Good price at about $10 at time of purchase for the materials.

The only thing was a slightly longer delivery time. Worth waiting for. They feel good in the hand

Love these! Learning nalbinding is not for the faint-of-heart, but these make the journey enjoyable.

Quite beautiful and interesting, when you pick them up they have weight. I wasn't expecting that. Definitely will last a lifetime, they're worth it.

These needles are well made, lovely and smooth and work well.
