Keurig K-Elite Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker, with Strength and Temperature Control, Iced Coffee Capability, 8 to 12oz Brew Size, Programmable, Brushed Slate

I’ve been really happy with the Keurig K-Elite. It’s one of those appliances that does exactly what I need it to do without making my morning more complicated. It heats up quickly, is easy to use, and I really like having several cup-size options depending on how much coffee I want. The Strong Brew setting is probably my favorite feature because I prefer a bolder cup, and it actually makes a noticeable difference. The large water reservoir is another big plus since I’m not constantly having to refill it. I also appreciate that it gives you more control than a basic single-serve machine while still keeping everything convenient. The controls are straightforward, cleanup is easy, and it consistently makes a good cup of coffee. If you like the convenience of K-Cups but want a machine with a few more useful features than the basic models, the K-Elite is a solid choice. I use mine regularly and would definitely buy it again.

Have to give 5 stars. We have had the unit just about 4 years. It’s used daily. Sometimes 2-3 times. I’ve had zero problems. Makes a decent cup of joe. Convenient enough. I don’t expect it to last forever but so far I am pleased. Will buy another when this unit dies.

I love the K-Elite Keurig coffee I would say this is my third one after many years. They seem to last me about three years. This one is identical to the previous ones that I’ve owned, however there’s one function that I do not like. The power button will not stay on. I have read that this is a new function of the Keurig machines to save energy. It turns off after a short time of brewing, your 1st cup of coffee. When I go back for my 2nd cup, I have to restart the machine and wait for the water to heat. Otherwise, I love the Machine and have actually used the iced coffee which I never used on my previous machine.

Does a good job making hot coffee quickly w minimum noise. My last Keurig was working well, but making a lot of noise, like it was struggling. Since it was 13+ years old and this machine was on sale for $94, decided it was time for a new machine. This machine is not as heavy or sturdily built as former machine, but it seems to work fine. I wanted a machine that was simple to operate w minimum features and one that was able to use the stainless steel refillable k-cups I used with my last machine. (This K-Elite is a No. 1 series, like my old machine so it works w my refillable k-cups). Didn't want machine that would beep when coffee maker was ready. Am not using the water filter that is designed to sit inside water reservoir as I only use distilled water. Didn't want to have to buy and replace carbon filter every 2 months. Think the reason my old machine lasted for years was partly due to it turned off after brewing coffee or tea in the morning or sometimes at night, consistent use of distilled water, and using pitcher to fill reservoir instead of removing and replacing reservoir when adding water, plus the old machine was well built. Have only used this new machine a few times, but am hoping it will last as long as the last machine.

This is my sixth Keurig coffee maker, and the second Elite I've purchased. The last one worked great for two years, until it started popping breakers. I've always loved the way these machines make coffee, and this one is no exception, but I really wish they'd last longer. Each machine seems to have its own little idiosyncrasies, and this one is no exception there either. It will occasionally shut off in the middle of a brew cycle, and has to be started back up, which is a minor inconvenience. But even though it's the same model as my last machine, it's much quieter, so that's a plus. It seems a little faster too, but I never actually timed them, so I can't be sure of that. All of them are hard to clean though. Although the manual only references cleaning the pod carrier, the assembly the pod carrier fits into cannot be removed, and it collects gunk over time. It's also very difficult to access. So, occasionally I have to unplug the machine, put it in the sink, and use a special little extended scrub brush to push down in there and clean it. Then it has to sit and dry thoroughly before being plugged back in. Fortunately, that isn't a regular requirement. The pod carrier and drip tray are extremely easy to remove and clean though, and those need to be cleaned regularly. If it weren't for a bit of cleaning difficulty and the less than ideal longevity, I'd give it a solid five stars. They're great machines. I'll also note that this machine has an internal water reservoir in addition to the external reservoir. Some water always stays inside the machine. That's not a fault. It's by design. I just note it because it may leak if you pick it up and move it around. And, if it sits unused for an extended period, you should run some cleaning flushes through it before using it again. Not a good machine for travel. Only the K-Express model does not have an internal reservoir, so I use that model as my travel machine, because it can be packed away for long periods when I'm at home. It's a bit smaller too, because the external water reservoir holds less water.

I purchased this Keurig K-Elite for my daughter, but I have been using it too, so I’ve had a chance to try the main features myself. We purchased it recently, and it has already been a great buy. I have used Keurig machines for years, and this one has a couple of features that really make it stand out. What I like: • The iced coffee feature works really well • It makes better iced coffee than just brewing a regular K-cup over ice • The iced setting seems to get the strength and ratio right so it does not taste watered down • Works with regular K-cups for iced coffee • Hot water on demand is very useful • Great for tea, oatmeal, hot cocoa mixes, and other hot drinks • Easy to set up • Directions were easy to understand • Brews regular K-cups nicely too • I like the variety of cup sizes • The water reservoir size is convenient without making the machine too bulky • Feels quieter than other Keurigs I have used • Fits nicely on the countertop Things to be aware of: • It is quieter than some other Keurigs, but it is not completely silent • It still makes some normal brewing and heating sounds • If placing it under cabinets, remember the handle needs extra clearance when opened • I do recommend keeping up with descaling because I think it helps with both taste and machine longevity • We use our Keurigs heavily, and while none have lasted forever for us, we keep coming back to the brand Overall: This is a great Keurig, and the iced coffee and hot water features are what make it feel special. It is easy to use, brews well, and has features I would really miss now.

Got this about 3 years back, and it’s still running smoothly with no problems. I descale and deep clean it twice a year. Love the different cup sizes, strength options, and the iced coffee feature!

I have had this Keurig for almost 10 years now and it’s still working terrific! This has a lot of options like the water filter, the carafe size pour, the timer and temperature- all things that I never use lol! This makes a great cup of coffee and I like the option to brew my own with the converter cup thing but I find it’s soo messy to use this it gets grinds everywhere. Still going strong after 10 years!

There are some nice features to this model that we enjoy. We like the Strong button with a 10oz cup for a bolder brew. The coffee seems to be hotter than our previous Keurig 2 model. There is an option to adjust the temperature of the water but we like it at the highest setting which is 192F. Nice selection of cup options i.e.. I like a clear Hot Water Button as I often have tea in the afternoons. The Elite is a nice looking unit and it is easy to use. A convenient feature is that you can program the start and auto off times. So far I am pretty happy with this machine.
