I'm getting over 2 Gpbs with this
I needed this to connect between my fiber optical network terminal and my router. This replaced some really ancient cat-5 cable I had on hand. Speed improved from about 700 mbps to over 2 Gbps.

Great patch cords!
I run five NAS servers in my den, two-to-three PCs, a Blu-Ray DVD unit, a TiVo, a laser printer and finally a wall-hung LED TV. (And that doesn't even touch any of the WiFi traffic in my home.) That means that off of my FIOS modem/router I'm using two 8-port managed network switches and I don't know how many feet of Ethernet cable. I ordered these CAT 8 short patch cords for connecting one server, one switch and my modem/router without multiple feet of useless extra cable hanging off my equipment. Each time I've added in new equipment and ordered more cables, the categories have increased in their abilities to handle traffic, and these cords were no different. They're CAT 8, which is the second bunch I've purchased in this grade, and all of them have worked flawlessly. They're really well-made and quite reasonably priced. What else can I say. Highly recommended.

Quick story short, my old ethernet cable (different brand) was disconnecting randomly on the PlayStation 5. So I bought this new Ethernet cable and it solved my disconnect problem. After various troubleshooting, this new ethernet cable solve my problem. No more disconnects.
