Philips Gogear Mix Mp3 Player 4Gb-Black

This compact and sleek design from Philips is definitely worth more than its price. Tested a few songs on it, and sound quality it produced was no different than a high end smartphone. Here's a few points I noted about it: * Can be charged through any USB plug point. Directly plug it into your charger's USB port, power bank or into a computer. Charges quickly. * 3.70 GB available memory to the user. * Has a one inch display. Bright and easy to see in low light conditions too. * It has a very scratch prone surface. So be careful while handling it or it can look like its a few years old within a week. * copy speeds are around 3.5 MBps. So it's basically a class 4 pendrive. * Has fm radio and voice recording. Quite handy features. * For people wondering, it DOES NOT HAVE A LOUDSPEAKER FEATURE. Audio is playable with headsets only. * Sound output will seem a little less at first. This is because of the Fullsound feature that balances the audio. If you require more volume, disable Fullsound and set an Equaliser of your choice through settings. It gives a very significant volume boost. * Handy features like folder view, shuffle, repeat, fast forward etc provide user friendly navigation * As for the headset provided in the box, it is actually not so bad. Manageable if you have no other headphones. However, it's nothing in comparison to my Sony MDR ZX110. This little product is packed with features and is worth its price. I think it's the best mp3 player you can buy under 2k. I got it for 1399/- through lightening deal. Thanks to Amazon for quick delivery

10 months of usage. Its a pretty good product. Sound quality : its good...whether i use it in my car or earphones/headphone. you need good earphones of course and the output that follows is great. Volume levels : Yes loud enough... It is affected by your earphones as well... my earphones are too loud ..but my on-ear headphones aren't too loud..they are just fine.. so watch out for that. Equalizer ; there a few presets available...but no manual equalizer setting. There is another boost available though - "full sound" . Screen off timer : yep..you can choose when your screen goes off Repeat and shuffle functions available. Radio is available. Sound recording is there too though i havent tried it. Menu scrolling : Although the most convenient is a full menu display screen... but that is not available at this price in any decent product. This has a four button navigation ... up down..left right ... you'll get the hang of it n then it gets pretty easy to use. Build Quality : Well made.. convenient size..the clip allows you to fix it anywhere on your pocket...your jeans...tee...anywhere..it works well and hasnt even lost its grip after 10 months..still pretty tight. Buttons are good and well made, conveniently placed for single handed usage. Screen : Single white colour display.. not touch screen... shows you the name of the song which scrolls right to left...the song timer... battery life.. all together. The screen might get scratched a little in time..but the scratches aren't really visible unless u start looking for them. Battery life : it lasts long enough... i listen to music for maybe 1 hr a day and it lasts me quite long..i forget how long ago i charged it last. Charging by USB is convenient. Plus you can use it as a pen drive too. Honestly, if i could spend on a music player with a bigger and better screen display i would do that..but if you arent looking to spend more than the price this is available at then this is pretty much the best you get when it comes to both quality and satisfaction in this segment. No complaints. Space : I have 400 songs (almost all are 320kbps) and i still have space for atleast 15 more maybe... so decide for yourself. In all ...a satisfactory purchase.

Well the philips has done the incredible work again with this small, beautiful, reasonably priced mp3 player, with decent sound reproduction and simple navigation. The product is great for all age groups, because of its simplicity. I am writing this review after some days of its usage, from which i have concluded of its credibility exceeding far away from its cons. Here are some gr8 +ve things of this mp3 player: 1.The design is really great, feels very premium and unique. 2.The sound reproduction is very good, crisp treble with good bass. It has a FULLSOUND feature which makes the music feel e1 more gr8er. It also has a equalizer built in, but I prefer the fullsound feature. The sound extreme level is also very good ( I had read a lot of reviews complaining abt this, but its good with 1-16 levels) It also has a "fast forward" feature, which is really good. 3,Gr8 display - The screen is about 1 inch, which is a OLED display(only the text which comes on screen brightens, rest remains clear black), just like clear black display in super amoled display screens. Display is very bright and clearly visible e1 in sunlight, really very good display. It is a 2 line display during the music playback. 4.The clip is very sturdy so its clipping mechanism would not wear down easily. 5.Sound recording is really great with the built in mic. It records crisp and clear. 6.Navigation is really very simple, with the provided back/hold key and the . & .. dot keys. One gets used to in just couple of minutes (talking about me :) ). 7. It also has a FM receiver & it plays FM in STEREO MODE.. Its definitely my favorite part of this mp3 player. It has 20 presets option, which I think is more than sufficient. 8. The FM has also a FM recording option, which is AWESOME, as the FM is recorded in 256 kbps, gr8 audio quality. 9. It also has a folder view option. We can create folders as playlist and play them as we wish. ( with SHUFFLE or without ) 10. It is really very fast to put songs in the player. Its really simple and convenient - just drag and drop in the music folder and enjoy. 11. The charging is fast - & its really like 6mins chrg. to 1 hr playback.(Tested) 12. Total playback time (continuously) is like 6 to 7 hours, works fine to me. 13. And now the headphones provided. I have read a lot of sarcastic reviews for the earpones with the package. Well, i really like the earphone. They of course are not in-ear-types and are really basic, but their sound reproduction is very DECENT. They remind me of older times, when there were no in ear types. These are good. 14.We can also store other type files, i.e. can also use as a flash pen drive. CONS:- 1. I think should not be even near to this gadget, but it has some. The single dotted button is not very intact. Its like really very little bit up from its ground position. When ever i press this down button, it feels a little bit annoying. But its okay as I have got used to it. :). Rest of the build is good. 2. Track changing is not really quick. It takes about 2-3 seconds to change the track. But one gets used to it. :) 3. In-built equalizer is just ok , as we don't get many options. AT LAST,,, THE VERDICT -- Its really to fall for MP3 player. This is my first ever mp3 player, and its awesome. The music reproduction from this gadget would really back off other leading brands. The provided headphone are also good, ""BUT if you have IN EAR types ( as I do have - Panasonic RP-HJE123 K ), the experience is going to be really gr8"". The FM reception ability is great, even if you are sitting in extreme indoors. The record function is really convenient. The in built mic records in gr8 quality. Its really a budget friendly gadget, and I would totally recommend it if you are looking for a gr8 mp3 player under 2k. Just choose it without thinking.
