Fantastic Addition to Mexican Train
This is the best design of a "hub" for the game of Mexican Train. It is solid wood and shaped so that trains can sit on it without any balancing issues. The metal trains are also incredible and a hundred times better than the plastic ones. A friend of mine had this exact set. I was so impressed, I had to order one for myself.

The metal trains are great!
We have a Mexican train set that we bought several years ago that came with little cheap plastic trains and a very thin plastic hub. Every time we would play and move the hub between rounds we would displace about half the trains from their space on the hub because they would just fall off. That does not happen with this set. The trains are metal and have some weight to them, and the wood hub is solid and stable, making the transition between rounds easier. I love that it has a felt back so the hubs doesn’t just slide all over on a slick table. The center of the hub where you place the double domino is a little big for the dominoes we have, but still totally works. The wood also appears to have a lacquer or finish on it that would likely protect it from any spill that might happen on the game table. The added scoring sheets are a nice perk too. Overall would recommend.

Already had the Dominos when we learned to play this game. Well made set made it even more fun to play.
