I have had a long run of what seemed like well made oven mitts that just burn thru so bad I can feel my soul on fire, and not in a good way. I took a chance on these thinking they would be even worse because of price and materials, I was so sure and skeptical. But then I tried them and felt nothing just as I hope to feel during day to day life on Earth. And then the real test came when I used these to open the lid of a Staub dutch oven, which anytime I have ever used it before I dread having to touch it after it’s been in or even near any source of heat (like maybe I used the grill outside that day, this thing is inside on the shelf self-blazing without any prior exposure to the darn grill in the first place) since it burns thru any glove like flesh eating acid. I FELT ZERO HEAT!! My only complaint would maybe be that it’s hard to have a good grip on handles for any period of time if you need to hold a dish to transfer to another and because I got the longer mitts (since I always seem to touch an arm or wrist to an oven shelf or side, it’s a common occurrence for me and I just don’t learn) my sleeves must be up to wear them properly. Overall, these are the best oven mitts I have ever had in my 46 years of burning myself, I mean baking/cooking/grilling/smoking.

These mitts cover your hand and most of your forearm! I love this! There's less to worry about bumping into hot areas of the oven. And don't worry about stocking your thumb into your food while it's in the oven. You won't feel the heat, you won't get burned, and the food is easily washed off the mitt.
