These stayed HOT for at least 10 hours, sometimes even 12. Their foot versions are only 8, so the marketing is spot on. They aren't huge, but they get the job done. If you work outside in the winter, I'd recommend them. They're great in the pockets if they sit at the hip area and nice to have in a first-aid kit with blankets. The outer warmer material is good quality and not easily torn open. Just don't forget to remove them if you do laundry. If left on bare sensitive skin (armpits, forearms, inner thighs, sides of stomach, neck, etc, they can leave red marks due to the heat, so a barrier like a cloth is necessary if you're attempting to keep someone warm in an outdoor emergency.

I use these during golf in the colder months. They heat up quickly and stay warm through the round of golf. I buy them in bulk as they are way cheaper than buying them at the golf course.

A must for bus time in the morning! Every day in the winter we stuff these in our gloves. Keeping little fingers warm all morning. It's very easy to stick them in the gloves they are just the right size. Kids can easily open the package. They warmth last all morning.
