Good fit for Craftsman 16 gallon shop vac
These Vacmaster standard cartridge filters were purchased for my Craftsman shop vac. The filter is good but I would've liked the "better", finer, filter than these standard ones. I couldn't find them. These are good for the price point and will fit what I need them to. I would buy again if I have to.

So great an improvement over the standar cloth filter
It fits well, once you realize that there is a top side and a bottom side. I had similar filters before, which could be cleaned with water and a hose, and lasted ages. Vacmaster says that this is not appropriate, still I'll try one of these days. Does need lots of cleaning with efforts to avoid the clouds of dust when, as recommended, you tap or knock the filter over a trash can.

I somehow managed to lose the cover from the old filter, so I needed to purchase a new cover. This was the cheapest way of doing so. However I also use the new filter with the new cover, and it works well in my Vacmaster workshop vacuum cleaner, fitting snugly and doing a good job.
