Having tried almost every product for my curly hair, and refusing to think of the money I have spent over the years on product after product that didn't work, I have to say Holy Moly this stuff is Amazing. Its nice and thick to coat my hands and run through my hair. I don't need to use a ton like other products and I actually does what it says. My curls are defined and bouncy and full, with no crunch or frizz. It smells nice too. My hair doesn't feel "dirty" like some products will do. And the following couple of days all I have so do is spray my hair with water to kind of reactivate the lotion and let it dry and its perfect all over again. My only issue is that since the product is so thick that when I get to the end of the tube it is a bit hard to get out. That being said it is a product that I have reordered and will continue to order.

Tried to review both items at the same time but couldn’t. So here’s my combined review for Mop Top: Love, love LOVE this product. I have long, thick, very curly hair. Have spent decades trying to find something to hold the curls. The expensive stuff could never do. Settled for a less expensive gel that was like liquid concrete. It held the curls but was seriously drying out my hair. Then I found Mop Top. This curl cream (use this one first) combined with the curl custard is the bomb. All day curls that are soft and hold their shape. The curls lasted 2-3 days. All I did was give them a little spritz of water to redefine them. Two thumbs up and 10 stars if I could give it that. Make sure to use it properly. It’s easy, but follow the instructions for best results. You won’t be sorry.

Great fragrance, thick product. Would likely work better on heavier hair (thick coarse). My hair did not respond well to the product.

I have curly hair that frizzes easily. I need a product that is going to make those curls last. This product went in to my hair smoothly and had a nice texture and moisturize but in the humid heat of Georgia— my hair lost its freshness and the frizz made a reappearance. This is an ok product but not the best

Wow!!!! OMG it was my first time to use this cream and my hair drank it up!!! I’m just starting my curly girl journey and I was a little worried the product might be sticky since it didn’t have silicones, but my hair was so soft and the definition so on point I cannot wait to use it again. Another thing worth mentioning I left my hands feeling so soft and smooth. Smells amazing if you love a good crow cream give this one a try. My hair never ringlets and to me these are ringlets!!! to be fair. I paired it with the curl custard also by mop top so maybe the ringlets are due to that product who knows maybe get both!

Pros: defines curls decently. Citrus scent. Don't need a lot. Cons: leaves my hair weighed down and greasy looking. More of a pomade texture than a cream.

As a curly girl I have amassed an arsenal of products. I'm sure most of you understand. Always looking for the "next best thing" that will support my curls, yet not weigh them down. Shampoos, conditioners, gels, mousses, you name it. A struggle to be sure. Then this came out from MopTop. Finally a product that actually delivers what it says it will do! I have fine hair, but a lot of it. My curls are fragile and can frizz easily. This cream has changed all that. It provides great hold and leaves my curls moisturized, soft and frizz free. It also smells amazing. Mop Top advertises their products as junk free and I really like that. I've been using the shampoo and conditioner from their line and am very happy with those as well.

this product honestly doesn’t work very well. I have very curly hair and this is arguably the most heavy dense product I’ve ever put in my hair. If anything it made my hair appear greasy. I use the recommended amount the first day and the next day after shampooing my hair I went back and tried to use less than half the amount. A very long curly hair that extends a good 6 inches past my shoulder and the results were pretty disappointing. The kindest thing I can say about the product is that it’s so heavy that it weighs your hair down to prevent it from becoming frizzy. But it doesn’t produce beautiful curls. I’ve tried quite a few other products that produce better looking curls. Don’t waste your money.
