Punch out the hole cover plugs from the rear with a thin screwdriver and you have the holes ready for marking and drilling. The switches work very well and are a nice touch giving the ability to switch off certain sockets without cutting the power to all. There isn't a CE mark on the socket but there is one on the box - not really sure what that means. It has two very well hidden plugs on the front plate covering screw holes. Push those out with a thin screw driver from the back, I just used the same screwdriver as a bradawl to mark the wall pushing through the holes from the front, drill, plug and screw. Having the switches was a positive as you could turn items off easily when not in use rather than taking out the plug. Lights to let you know which socket was live, very useful.
