I need something small that doesn't take up a lot of space and can be easily stored away. These are ideal as I can just slot them in one of cupboards between some cookery books.They have a nice sleek modern look, love the tempered glass and the silver and black. The led display is bright and displays the measurements clearly. They have the tare feature which allows you to put your container on the scales, press the tare button and the scales will then show as zero so you can begin measuring your ingredients. You can also measure multiple ingredients into one bowl and keep pressing tare button inbetween. It's a must have feature for kitchen scales really. They're super easy to clean, a quick wipe is all that's needed. I also like the fact that they take two AAA batteries. If the batteries run out I normally have AAA's in the cupboard so no risk of having to guess measurements when cooking dinner! My old scales needed a large button battery which I never remembered to have in stock.I've tried the scales using all units, they work perfectly and are accurate. A good bright digital display, even I can see it without my glasses!The scales take 2 AAA batteries, helpfully supplied in the box. I haven't had a proper play yet but from what I can see so far you can weigh, remove the bowl, etc, from the scales, and it retains the weight of what you've just taken off so you can weight your next lot of ingredients. When you switch it on the default unit is grams anyway, but there is a small instructional booklet included that speaks plain English, which is nice. There is a maximum weight of 10kg. I'm not sure what you would be weighing that would be that heavy but I guess it also brings to mind that this could have multiple uses these days - not just in the kitchen but for weighing items to be posted for returns or selling your own items online perhaps.There's not a great deal more I can say. It is nicely designed, smart looking and easy to use. I am happy with it.
