Dragon Speaker Stands (Set of 2)

I would consider these stands to be essential if you are going to invest in the Dragon system. The surround speakers are designed specifically to be used with these stands, so you will make sacrifices if you go for another set of stands. And given how much you're investing in the Dragon, it won't make much sense to cut corners on the surround stands. The surround speakers are diesel. They are wide and heavy. They are substantive. These stands fit them perfectly, and they are incredibly sturdy. The bottom part of the stand is so heavy and well made that it would really take a concerted effort to knock the speaker over. I have a large dog and a couple curious bengal cats. I don't want to take any chances, and these speaker stands have withheld any and all collisions without so much as budging. They are very easy to assemble, and come well packed. There are clear instructions online, and there's a video too. And the stands come with a paper user guide that clearly outlines how to assemble them. Just make sure you fit the edge of the poles with the slightly smaller notch into the bottom part of the stands. When I first assembled the stands, I accidentally fit the larger notch side onto the bottom piece. When it came time to run the cord up and out from under the top part of the stand, I realized the notch was too small, and had to unscrew the top pieces, and reverse the poles. One reason I'd strongly recommend these stands, is that the performance of the system is significantly better with the speakers placed to the sides of the listening area. These stands are the exact perfect height at which to listen to the surround speakers when seated. I've tested the same content with the speakers placed behind me, and they just do not rock the way they do when they are placed to the side of my listening position. Getting the stands allows you to place the speakers exactly where you get the best sound from them. If you wall mount the speakers, you will not have the flexibility of moving them to the point in your room where you experience the best performance. And getting cheaper, less sturdy stands runs you the risk of the speakers getting knocked over. There's also high risk of rattle if you get cheap stands. These surround speakers truly rock, and cheap stands won't do them justice.

I needed these to go with my Nakamichi Dragon system. These stands are nothing short of perfection. There as solid as you could ever imagine and will work with your rear speakers. They arent cheap, but man oh man worth every penny. The look is incredible. The size is perfect for placement around your room. As far as Height goes, well the speakers do that for you just fine. Do your due dilligence and you will see that these speaker stands are the best.

These are really great stands. They are very solid and sturdy, and I needed that because they sit somewhat in the walking area into the home theater. They look great and are at the right ear-level height. I really like the ability to move them around to get just the right placement. They were easy to assemble, and hid the wires very well. Though very expensive, I have no regrets whatsoever.

What else is there to say, the headline says it all -- Everything Nakamichi does with the Dragon name, is simply the BEST! Really, these things are HEAVY, SOLID, BEAUTIFUL, and complement my full 11.6.6 Theater system by allowing me to position the rear surrounds wherever I want depending on how full my little theater is -- that is, when it's just the two of us, we place them nearer to where we sit. But when my college sons and/or dates and buddies are there, we put them in the back of the room. Also bought the wall mounts, but have set them aside because these are so much better! If you are debating between these or the wall mounts, get these -- they are SO WORTH the additional cost!!! -- Dr. P

These stands are awesome. They are heavy duty, but also beautiful, but they are amazing when it comes to limited space because you can put them where you need them if you have like windows in the way which makes wall mounts a limited option. The stands are well built. They are attractive. The wire that plugs into the speaker into the outlet is unseen, goes right through the center of the stand.

Fit the speakers perfectly—just a top-notch product.

I think I found the most high-quality speaker stands. I have ever purchased quality is insane. Heavy duty no wall really good with my dream. Highly recommend a must have if you Owen the dragon nakamichi is the only way I will ever go for a home theater
