Impressive WWII Model with Exceptional Detail
The COBI WWII Horton Ho 229 is an outstanding. Build Experience: The build is both fun and challenging, with 500+ pieces that fit together perfectly. The instructions are clear, and COBI’s brick quality is excellent—comparable to major brands. The process highlights the distinctive shape of the Ho 229, especially its sleek wings and cockpit. Design and Details: COBI has done an excellent job replicating the futuristic look of this experimental aircraft. The camouflage pattern is printed directly onto the bricks (no stickers!), which adds to its authenticity and durability. The inclusion of retractable landing gear and movable parts enhances the model’s realism. Overall, the COBI Horton Ho 229 is a fantastic addition to any WWII or aviation-themed collection. It combines history, creativity, and quality in one exceptional package. Highly recommended!

Another great COBI set!
Another great COBI build! They never disappoint. We got this for our 10-year-old son for Christmas, and he built it himself over the course of two days. Probably would be doable in one day if you don’t have a bunch of other new sets and toys to distract you. The difficulty level was perfect for a 10-year-old who loves these sets and knows what he’s doing. All pieces were included—we’ve never had issues with that with Cobi. This is a big set, with retractable landing gear, so I would say it’s worth the money. These things are pricey, that’s just the way it is. (One of the biggest shocks of parenting for me is how expensive LEGO sets are!) But the joy my son gets from these sets is off the charts. He particularly like Cobi because he prefers sets of real military vehicles.

Great building set
A bit of a challenge to build because it is quite large. Terrific instructions. Quality of product is excellent. Super project for an inside activity day.

Fun build. Bad landing gear.
Loved the build. No issues with missing pieces. My only complaint is the front landing gear. It does not stay fully extended. So it always looks like the plane nosed in on landing. I still would recommend it.

Passgenauigkeit wie gewohnt top von Cobi. Bedrückte Steine, Anleitung verständlich. Alles top Niveau. Wer nach seltenen speziellen Flugzeugen sucht, ist bei der Horten genau richtig. Ein Nurflügler der besonderen Art, er war seiner Zeit weit vorraus. Interressante Entwicklungsgeschichte und Eigenschaften machen Ihn zu etwas ganz besonderen. Ein erhaltenes Exemplar wird z.Zt. in den USA restauriert. Mein Sohn konnte es nicht erwarten Ihn fertig zusehen und hat das Modell an einem Abend aufgebaut. Jetzt steht es stolz in seinem Zimmer in seiner Cobi-Sammlung
