This 4mm serrated line does exactly what it is supposed to do. Cuts through thick grass and scrub easily taking out suckers and saplings up to 8mm. Anything larger it may break off but that's how it works. It is however dangerous if not used properly. Used with a 50cc strimmer it can flick up large stones, dirt and grit so eye /head protection is a must and beware if using near windows. Equally it will do considerable damage to legs and feet if they get in the way so protective boots should be worn eg chainsaw boots.

You have to have the correct holder for this strimmer cord and it doesn’t work without that fitted but it is very good for heavy cutting of nettles brambles and similar.

These work very well in the appropriate head and the system is very easy to use. The only slight issue I had was that they tend to break when cutting through heavier weeds and the like. Works perfect for normal garden use, but you’d still need a brush cutter in your arsenal.

Very tough and heavyweight. Unfortunately, that makes the 3mm version extremely difficult to load onto the normal sized petrol strimmer spool. I finally managed it and then accidentally hit a root and ripped out the whole of the wire from one side of the strimmer head. I think I'll stick to the cheaper lightweight version in future.

Very good heavy duty strimmer cord, no problems with taking down thick material, just make sure you wear a forestry helmet with visor, as a piece of cord snapped of a cut my face, my own fault tho

Previous trimmer line was OK but within 15 minutes of using was down to a couple of centimetres. I have just done an hour with the Oregon Flexiblade loaded onto a fairly heavy duty electric brushcutter doing moderate work through long grass and undergrowth and it is the same length as when I started.

Väldigt stark, enda är att den är väldigt känslig mot stenar och stubbar, så en poäng avdrag, men har du koll på din mark, så är den väldigt stryktålig och drar igenom tjock vegetation utan problem, börja högre upp och jobba neråt får man skärkraft av sitt like.
