This 4mm serrated line does exactly what it is supposed to do. Cuts through thick grass and scrub easily taking out suckers and saplings up to 8mm. Anything larger it may break off but that's how it works. It is however dangerous if not used properly. Used with a 50cc strimmer it can flick up large stones, dirt and grit so eye /head protection is a must and beware if using near windows. Equally it will do considerable damage to legs and feet if they get in the way so protective boots should be worn eg chainsaw boots.

Very good heavy duty strimmer cord, no problems with taking down thick material, just make sure you wear a forestry helmet with visor, as a piece of cord snapped of a cut my face, my own fault tho

They are sturdy and can obliterate brambles but you have to be careful not to hit anything too hard (boulder etc) as they can snap easily.

You have to have the correct holder for this strimmer cord and it doesn’t work without that fitted but it is very good for heavy cutting of nettles brambles and similar.

Excellent product and packaging this time. Lasts ages edging lawn and cutting grass with a tanaka tbc270psf and oregon jet fit head ( 2 line only on this size engined brushcutter), just cut line to correct length with snips or cutters of some sort and insert into the jet fit head which will ratchet the line securely in place and away we go! I bought this as the cut strips get more expensive and less resilient every year ! It’s too much of a pain really. Although cheaper I often undercut or overdue and the acute curve effects performance I’m sure. Probably best if you got a block of wood with two six inch nails at either end 1cm apart and cut to an exact size then left for the to naturally straight out over a few days - maybe even a quick blow torch. Then they would all be cut uniformly and straights ready for mass use. That what I am going to do for the rest of the reel!

I was totally fed up with the cheaper brands not fit for the job. This line is awesome. Feeds and lasts longer. Definitely recommend and fit for purpose. It slices through normal to long grass with a petrol bush cutter

This product by Oregon is an absolute waste of money. My intention is to message Oregon UK to that effect. The fact it does not do as described, surely is a case of money back. On introducing it yesterday to quite young bramble stems it just broke off. I am a farmer, having used a strimmer for years, as I had a few shoots of brambles developing around the garden and lawn, I thought, seeing this product described and available via Amazon, I thought it would just the Oregon product to use. What a mistake. It was a bit of a job to get it onto the reel, being so stiff, however, with a little effort it did fit ok. Definitely, no good.

Väldigt stark, enda är att den är väldigt känslig mot stenar och stubbar, så en poäng avdrag, men har du koll på din mark, så är den väldigt stryktålig och drar igenom tjock vegetation utan problem, börja högre upp och jobba neråt får man skärkraft av sitt like.
