More juice, less waste!
Love this juicer attachment! Easy to use, easy to clean, and produces so much more juice than the standard juicer that I used to have! So efficient and doesn’t waste nearly as much, either. I got five and a half cups of orange juice from eight medium-sized mandarin oranges!

Must have
The Masticating Juicer Attachment for the KitchenAid Mixer is a remarkable addition to any kitchen, especially for those passionate about fresh, homemade juices. This attachment transforms the versatile KitchenAid mixer into a powerful, slow juicer that efficiently extracts juice from fruits, vegetables, and leafy greens while preserving their nutrients and flavor. Users rave about its ability to produce high-quality juice with minimal foam and oxidation, ensuring a longer shelf life and better taste. The attachment is easy to assemble, use, and clean, with dishwasher-safe parts that simplify maintenance. Its robust design and reliable performance make it a worthwhile investment for health-conscious individuals. The slow masticating process ensures maximum juice yield and nutrient retention, making it superior to traditional centrifugal juicers. Sad I didn’t purchase sooner
I love it. This juicer is amazing and does exactly what I need. My favorite part is how easy it is to clean — it is completely dishwasher safe and breaks down quickly, which was a big factor for me. I did not want to deal with tiny parts that are hard to reach. I love the attachments that come with it, including one cup to catch the juice and one to catch the pulp. The fact that it connects directly to my KitchenAid and then disconnects when I am done makes storage simple and keeps everything out of sight. For the price, this is fantastic. I would absolutely buy it again.

From quality to pure a$$
Update: I gifted my original one I bought in July 2025 to a friend and ordered a new one in Nov 2025 for myself. Bad. Move. Something has changed with manufacturing. The pulp does not come out the spout. Pulp is in the juice. My mixer is over heating. And these issues don’t justify the price difference. July review: I’ve previously owned a stand alone juicer that cost me nearly $400. I loved my juicer. It lasted me a very long time. It still worked after 5 years. I donated it to a non-profit and was going to upgrade to a $600 or $700 one. But then I saw this attachment for my kitchen aid and felt the price was worth trying. Man, sometimes the simplest solutions are the best. It works just as well as my old juicer. Just as easy to clean. Small parts that took seconds to put together. Well worth it!!! The savings from buying a stand alone juicer make this product worth a million bucks lol.

Good attachment. Does the job.
This came in decent packag8ng and was in good condition on inspection. This is a tough little attachment and does juice everything well. I have used other machines and this attachment works well with my stand mixer. However, it does have issues in terms of ease of use and especially clean up. It is difficult to line things up when setting up and when tearing down, it can be messy as hell. It is also hard to clean especially if you use seedy fruits. In that case you will need a bottle brush and a powerful sprayer at your sink. This machine does what it says it will do and does it well. I am giving it a 4 because of the difficulty with lining the attachment up with its parts and difficulty in cleaming. It is enough so that, unless you have time to burn in order to clean it up, you may not use it except the weekend. Or, you will get up earlier.

If you just want a little cider, this is the smart choice!
I am new to hard cider but not fermenting tasty juices. It's apple season here in NY so I thought I'd try my hand at making cider but you need a press and an apple scratter (crusher). Those can be pricey and I didn't want to invest $100's into something I may not pursue. A juicer came to mind but even juicers are big, hard to store and very expensive. This was the perfect solution! It handled both peeled/cored apples as easy as it did unpeeled roughly chopped ones with the skins still on. It is sturdy, well made, and pretty easy to clean. It went through 20 lbs of apples with ease and I look forward to my second batch later. My favorite thing about this is that it works with something I already HAVE and I don't have to buy a standalone unit. It IS a little messy. If you juice every morning this might not be it for you. But the occasional "event" and this juicer was the perfect choice for me!

Works with corks
It makes sense to join this description with video. Will see if I make it next time. First of all, the device works and produces great juice for apples and oranges. Which is what it was purchased for in the first place. So, it's a keeper. The next is details, wants and more wants, but it's important to keep things in perspective. The device does what it supposed to and produces results we are currently enjoying with all our family. Orange and apple juice are top marks! I wanted it to make a pomegranate juice ( squeeze, not make, sorry ). But this is where device ran into its limitations and my, admittedly, laziness. I hope my level of laziness is understandable. I wasn't expecting to have to remove all but pomegranate seeds to load into device. And then if I had to, I would probably forego making juice altogether, I like the seeds on their own. The limitation, I hope, is obvious, the shell has a tangy taste, that gives too much of it to final product, the juice, and so, it's not really the taste you would expect. And no amount of filtration would help. With hand cranked juice maker it's a totally different story. The smart inbuilt into this ancient juice making approach takes a bit of scientific mind to appreciate. The hand cranked juice machine obviates the shell, leaving it outside of material subjected to pressure and cleanly applies extraction process to just the fruit content. Anyone, who tried the juice produced as a result knows what I am talking about. It's just exquisite. But the trouble is properly engineered machine using crank pressure would cost well in excess of 500 dollars. And to make it to perfection it would require to add electric assist, similar to electric bicycle. Now, that would be an ideal to strive for in the future. For now this 60 dollar device works. Apples and oranges, but it's already great. A few more minor details. I was expecting device to fit very snugly, but it actually has a bit of wobbling motion. Nothing too serious, but need to pay attention. To fit attachment better I ended up giving it a bit of run, while pushing on the fitting screw to ensure it is as secure ass possible. This is needed to make sure to avoid any risk of detaching device by accident. Between oranges and apples, the easier juice making process, and probably the easiest is with oranges. The consistency of pulp extracted by juice maker makes the pulp come out smoothly and it falls into cup under gravity effortlessly, making it for very easy process. The apples, on the other hand, have skin that has a bit of spring to it, when rolled off by device. As a result the pulp has propensity to spring slightly off from just falling down trajectory. And unless you up the cup to the extrusion point it will fall somewhat around machine, so, be prepared to a bit more cleaning. And than the apple pulp from the fruit itself turns into emulsion that needs to be filtered from the juice itself as a subsequent step. I ended up cleaning a bit of an area where I was making juice, plus the filtering sieve. Nothing to really worry about, but as far as time goes this isn't something you would do every morning or after coming home from work. More like a weekly meal preparation routine, where juice is produced in some quantity and stored. In my mind I had an idea of just that, a minute of fun time + healthy drink. So, another slight adjustment. But still, the juice is worth it. I hope these gory details do not make reader feel overwhelmed. :)

Skeptical
I was skeptical, but it works surprisingly well. Able to even juice Ginger no problem at all.

A-ok product.
If you are really into cold press juice, I'd suggest buying a proper cold press juicer, not this attachment. While this attachment works results are not the best. Used a couple times, the pulp doesn't come out as dry as I'd expect. I can get whatever comes out and squish with my own hands and I still get a good amount of juice by doing so, in my humble opinion, with a proper cold press juicer, this wouldn't be the case. Poor design, the hole where the pulp comes out vs where the juice comes out are very close to eachother, requiring you align perfectly otherwise some pulp may get to your juice container as it comes out. Overall an a-ok product, does what it's indented but somewhat poorly, would not recommend a friend to buy.

Nice Attachment
This juicer works well with my KitchenAid. It’s easy to attach, simple to clean. I’ve tried it with apples, and Kiwi and it handled everything without a problem. But I would not recommend putting oranges with their skin because well the taste is not that good but that’s not the fault of the attachment of course. Definitely worth it at the end of the day.
