I am now a believer in the word “universal.” I put this flapper on two different toilets in my house and it sealed perfectly on both. The running water stopped, the tanks refill normally, and installation was simple. The rubber feels sturdy and the chain is easy to adjust. For one last test, I went to my neighbor’s to borrow some sugar, asked to use the bathroom, and quietly swapped their old flapper just to see if it would fit. It worked there too. I walked out of their bathroom with a soaking wet arm (should have rolled up my sleeve), thanked them for the sugar, ignored the confused looks, and went home feeling very satisfied with my plumbing experiment. If you have a standard 2 inch flapper and a toilet that will not stop running, this is an inexpensive, truly universal fix.

Easy to install and worked.

This was the 3rd flapper replacement I tried after replacing the flush valve in my Crane Toilet. I kept getting phantom flushes and each flapper I tried reduced the frequency of the phantom flushes, but none of them (including this one) eliminate the problem. I finally replaced the entire flush valve again with a different brand and that resolved the problem. So I can't blame this flapper for not sealing completely when replacing the valve was needed to resolve the issue. This unit is of good quality and performed better than any others that I tried.

Good value, easy to install, and fit my Kohler toiler perfectly. These are universal for a 2" toilet inlet. Some people wrote negative reviews because it did not universally fit their toilet, but you have to know if your inlet is 2" or 3" and make the proper selection. I was a little skeptical about the quality of the silicone material this is made of, but I installed it and the toilet is shutting off as it should. Silicone should last longer than the rubber that most toilets come with, which was one reason I got this one. Overall, I gave it 5 stars for the value, ease of install and functionality. It has been installed for 2 weeks and working well.
