I like to use one layer for the main (a rice or pasta dish in my case) and the other for pudding (chocolate-spread sandwich anyone?) Certainly, if you are on a long car journey or want the box for your office lunch, you will get in enough food to keep you happy. BUT, I knock off a star because of that sauce pot. Others have said that it doesn't fit, and they are right. It's not that I actually use the sauce bottle, but I am still knocking off that fifth star because, well, you buy a product like this because you like everything just so. You want perfection. You want to arrange your food neatly in those little compartments and maybe make some beautiful nori rolls. You lovingly wrap the box in the neat elastic band and marvel at the watertight seals of both layers. You stroke your box and whisper sweet nothings to it. But if you can't use the sauce pot and get the lid on properly, you are distraught. If, like me, you solve the problem by pretending that sauce pot was never there, then fine. But if you need the watertight seal AND the sauce pot at the same time, then go ahead and cry. Here's a tissue.
