Snap on and off, it is great. If moving around, without a protective cover it will not stay in place as using magnetic touch points. With protective cover though, it sits sweetly in place. Corners have a little difficulty with touch screen as it sits out a little by the edge because of magnetic touch points. Overall though a 9/10 and very pleased with this, perfect for working while in public space or while travelling.

This is the second privacy screen I have purchased. The first one I bought was a 3M, but it was full of bubbles on the screen. It was hard to read and you had to turn the brightness way up just to read it. This one, though, works much better. It's much more readable, even when the brightness is not turned up. There are no bubbles and the privacy filter is very effective. The magnetic install is very easy. If you follow the instructions with removing the keyboard before installation, then the display stays put and doesn't slide for me like some of the other reviews suggest. If you have a surface pro, this is the privacy filter I would suggest.

Not bad. Not great. I got this for when I travel. Primarily for when I’m working or watching movies on the plane. It snaps on off real easy and fits well. It does give privacy but the screen itself is slightly elevated from the glass screen which means the touch response is pretty bad. Would not be conducive to using the pen or lots of touch screen activity. Also it tends to slide around so I usually tuck it behind the keyboard magnet to help it stay in place. You will need to turn up the screen brightness as you lose some of that as well...which drains your battery at a faster rate. FYI. I don’t use this all the time, only when I’m in public so my biggest complaint is that there is no substantive protective sleeve or carry case for it when you don’t use it. So mine got bent around one edges a little when I tuck it away in my pack pack with my papers/folders, etc.. mostly because it is just slightly bigger than 8 1/2 x 11 (A4). That means it doesn’t quite fit in a normal folder. One edges pokes out and can get bent when storing and that makes it less than smooth when you reapply it to the screen. I’ve only used it on one trip so far (2 flights). It served its purpose on the plane, but I am not overwhelmely happy with it either. Just meh. For the price...not sure I would recommend.

Very disappointed. I purchased a “new” product and paid full price. What arrived was. Leary used. The packaging had been previously opened and the directions instructed me to remove two strips of tape from the device before putting it on my screen. There was no tape to be removed. And even when I laid the magnet down it did not fit flush. Very disheartening. This is the second time a vendor has sold me “old - “new” stuff. Insulting and infuriating!

So i really wanted to give this product a 5 star ratting but with missing parts i have to give it a 3. This screen protector works really well and does a good job on limiting what onlookers can see if they are sitting next to you or if you are working at your local coffee shop. My biggest issue with this screen is that the packaging is missing parts in it to properly install the screen. The instructions tell you to feel off and stick mettle strip stickers to the top of your surface pro so that the magnets have something to hold on to and prevent your screen from sliding around. My first order this packet of stickers was missing form the unopened packaging. I placed a replacement order and yet again this packet of stickers was not in the new replacement. The screen holds tight to the bottom of the screen as your surface pro already has magnets in place to your keyboard will attach to your device. With out any type of magnetic strips or the "included metal stickers" the screen protector has nothing to hold on to along the top of your screen. This causes on HUGE issue in the fact your screen protector will slide around and shift on you if you us your touch screen a lot or when you open and close your keyboard. There are a few pros and cons to this screen protector and I will lay them out bellow. PROS: - Easy to install - Screen privacy from unwanted eyes - Easy to clean - Doesn't block any edges of your screen CONS: - Missing parts to install correctly - Have to press a little harder then normal with your pen / finger for your screen to register - Not glare resistant - Hard to see if using outside on a bright day All in all I am happy with this screen I just wish it came with all the parts so I am not having to adjust my screen all the time and that the touch screen usage was a little easier.

Love the magnetic, easy on/easy off nature of this screen. Definitely is effective at hiding the screen at certain angles. Doesn't hinder the touch screen or Surface Pen from working properly.

Are you looking for a magnetic privacy screen for the surface pro 6? Get this! Super easy to install and remove and perfect for my privacy needs. My only con is some of the finger touch capabilities are harder with the screen on. I think this is y understandable due to the extra layer this screen is providing.

I took a chance on this with so few reviews because I didn't want to put adhesive on my Surface Pro. This privacy screen works exactly as advertised. It snaps on with the magnet -- no adhesive, and it even can be left on when I close my Surface keyboard cover. I have tried the touchscreen, and once I got the screen on correctly, it worked well. I haven't tried the pen, nor have I tried reading in tablet mode. Very happy with this purchase.

This is just what I wanted! I love the idea of snapping the screen off and on when you want rather than having a permanent screen protector and ruining the screen and my 16GB version Microsoft Surface 7 cost me a lot of money so this was perfect and it turned out to be just what I was after. The screen has a dark tint to and as you look from the sides screen becomes darker so privacy is ok, but privacy isn't what I bought it for. I think it would be impossible to get any better privacy because then you wouldn't be able to see anything on the screen either, If you had someone sat on a bus then the people behind you could still see the screen who was viewing it head on and if someone was sat next to you the screen would get darker for the person viewing it from edges so it would be harder for them to see what was on the screen. the screen only gets darker viewing by the sides not from viewing down at the screen or up at the screen. Overall I don't think you could get much better than this and I'm very happy with it.

Fantastic item, easy to connect to the screen and anti glare is fantastic privacy is also great and very sturdy product

It was initially not so obvious that the screen protector was fitting properly until we realised that the bottom of it sits below the magnet on the Surface Pro. It works very well and is easy to remove. It does indeed have a rough and smooth side that you can choose from and it does block viewing from indirect angles very effectively.

L'ho comprato per un Surface Pro 6 e calza alla perfezione (vedi foto). La banda magnetica permette di toglierlo e metterlo alla bisogna come fosse un velo. E' molto efficace come filtro privacy (come dimostra la foto a 45° circa lo schermo è completamente oscurato) ed è perfetto come filtro antiriflesso (uso il pc sul terrazzo a luce piena). Il touch un po' ne risente. L'ho provato, a onor del vero, sopra la pellicola protettiva che di base ho sullo schermo, ma non credo che sia quello il problema. La penna viene riconosciuta velocemente e funziona in modo abbastanza accettabile, mentre le dita faticano ad essere riconosciute. Lo consiglio per l'uso che ne faccio: filtro antiriflesso/ privacy quando il Surface è in "modalità pc" e non si ricorre alla scrittura sullo schermo o ai comandi touch.
