That being said, I did face one issue after a few months of use—the fan started malfunctioning whenever I switched to speeds 3, 4, or 5. It would shut off and restart continuously until I reduced the speed. I raised a complaint, and to Atomberg’s credit, their service team responded promptly. The technician replaced a part under warranty, and since then the fan has been working fine. I have noticed a short motor grinding noise for a few seconds whenever the fan starts, but it quickly settles and doesn’t affect performance. It’s more of a minor nitpick than a deal-breaker. One drawback I’d like to highlight is with the automation feature. I’ve set routines like turning off my AC at 6 am and turning on the fan at 6:30 am automatically. This works well most days, but if the internet disconnects around that time, the fan “forgets” the schedule and doesn’t execute it. It seems the automation is stored on the server side rather than locally on the fan, which could be improved. Another point worth mentioning: there’s really no such thing as a completely noiseless fan. This model is slightly quieter than normal ceiling fans, but that’s noticeable only at lower speeds. At higher speeds, the noise level is almost the same as a regular fan, since the sound is caused by airflow (wind noise) and not by the motor itself.
