Great little setup!
Well designed and the slanted front glass goves a great veiwing angle. Amazon needs to ship it with more padsing (first one came broken) but other wise the tank is great. Pre wored for o2 or co2z. Relatively large compartments in the back to house just about everything you need. Im sire you could upgrade the stock return pump too. Overall grat tank for the price. Unique styling and just fun all around. UPDATE: Pump failed after 4.5 months.

No instructions included
Love the tank, but there are no instructions...frustrating but I already kow about my fishes. Also this aquarium does not come with a light as shown. I had to purchase one on Amazon, annoyed. I don't always have $20 in my back pocket. Love the tank, shame on the false advertisement

This is a beautiful unique aquarium for a fair price
I have now had this aquarium for five years and it has held up great. The unique slanted front truly gives a unique viewing experience, while also still being glass which has many advantages over acrylic, and you are still able to use both magnetic algae scrapers and a razor blade easily enough. The glass is a little thin, so I suggest using caution when transporting and cleaning the lid. Again though, no cracking or leaking issues to date. Additionally, LifeGard has great customer service, I had lost a part and LifeGard aquatics was quick to get back to me. But, there are a few potential issues with this aquarium. First, is that the pump it comes with is quite strong and I do not believe there is any adjustment dial, I suggest replacing the pump if you have delicate fish(the tubing is very standard 1/2 inch, nearly any ~50w pump on the market will work.) I also wish the tubing for the outlet fit more snugly, as it has come loose before. Finally, the lid would be greatly improved with a cutout for feeding, which could also serve as a handle because it is otherwise difficult to remove.

Would not reccomend-bottom of tank cracked
Purchased the 7gallon tank with integrated filter end of January 2018. The pump that came with the tank was weak and needed to be replaced to properly filter the aquarium, however the spacing within the separated filter space in the back is very limited making this challenging. The glass lid was extremely inconvenient as it needed to be balanced on 4 plastic clips that slide around the edge of the tank, needed to be taped in place and light removed for feedings to provide clearance. After less than 4 months on a stable flat surface not being moved, woke up this morning to an empty tank and flooded kitchen counter and floor. The glass on the bottom of the tank split in 2. Lost all celestial Pearl's, pygmy Cory's, Gertrude rainbows....not a cheap loss, and very sad. Asthetically it was beautiful, but the challenges of the tank setup combined with the glass lid fit and tank bottom splitting, I would look at other nano tanks.

Great as a saltwater nano reef tank
This is a convenient way to get your feet wet with a saltwater nano reef tank, at a reasonable price. If you add one or two small fish (such as small clown, lawnmower blenny, or damsel), expect to change out 2 gallons of water a week to keep up with the bioload. A good reef salt will also keep your water properly replenished with elements for your corals. Leather corals, green star polyps, and mushrooms will all do well even with inexpensive lighting, as the tank is shallow. You can fit cheap filter floss and a sponge in the overflow/intake section (to the left), and there is additional room in the โsumpโ panel to hold a bag of charcoal or other media like Phosguard. Besides a heater, I would highly recommend a nano skimmer; the one from Coral Life will fit inside the sump area. Please note: Do NOT attempt to keep a large fish in this tank (which will only have about 5 usable gallons for the wish to swim after sand/rock). The filefish and angel in my photos are only in those tanks for a brief period of observation, before returning to my 90 gallon tank!

Excellent tank, if you can get one that doesn't arrive shattered.
I'm 1 for 2 on these. I bought one about a year ago that arrived without any issues and has been running as a nano reef tank flawlessly (well the pump needs frequent cleaning but that's to be expected). I decided to buy another to use for my daughter's betta fish and that one arrived today with at least one panel completely shattered even though the exterior box was perfectly fine and it was covered in "fragile-glass" stickers. Order at your own risk, at least Amazon has an excellent return policy but it's still upsetting that they arrive broken so frequently per the other reviewers.

good tank
I really like the tank and the filtration system I would like a nicer lid but everything else met all my expectations

Great budget/1st timer tank
This tank is great for the price point. I was skeptical of buying after reading the horrible reviews about breaking during delivery but with glass you always run that risk. I purchased the kit with just the built in filter (this included tank lid, pump bio balls, ceramic media, and a couple sponge filters). Tank arrived with no damages and has been holding water with no issues for over a week. The view is amazing standing or sitting and enhances the contents of that tank dramatically (no more bending over to find your favorite fish). If you plan on using this tank (5gal model) for a planted aquarium like I did, I would recommend purchasing the Lifegard Quiet One 200 pump vs the 400 model that comes with this kit. The flow of the included pump is far too much for a planted tank, my poor Darios/Chili Rasboras were blown around the tank. Great for saltwater, but for planted tanks deff swap out the 400 for the 200 for a calmer tank flow.

Misleading product description
Over priced to come with none of the accessories the complete package is supposed to come with. This barebones filter and pump is listed by LifeGard at about $80 The complete kit with heater and light that the discription does a good job of misleading one into thinking they are purchasing is $140. Glass is very thin and very fragile as other members have mentioned chipping and cracking in comments. Do yourself a favour at this price point get a Fluval Edge. Fluval Flex or Fluval Spec. For the same $140 thicker glass better silicone, and all accessories bundled under a moderate to high end name in the aquarium industry. Shape angle is good, makes a good nano tank. Would give 4/5 if product discription changed/improved.
