Easy setup, excellent product.
Exactly what was needed. Scan the QR code on the item, goes right into the eufy app. So easy. Couple drops of water set it off. You can get alert messages on your phone, the siren on the hub, or both. Great product!

Works great, easy connect to base unit. Wish I had gotten it two months ago!
We got this Eufy Security Water and Freeze Sensor with Remote Alerts, to add to our Eufy system base unit. Easy to follow directions to set up. Leak detection should be excellent as it detected even a little water on the test runs. The only problem we had connecting was due to the network password being changed (our error). I'm super glad we got this and it gives me peace of mind that we can deal with any future leaks where this Eufy sensor is placed. And yes, we got it AFTER we had a leak, fixed the faucet, and cleaned up the mess.

Works as described
No issues with setting up the device. I tested it with water, and it alerted me as designed. I have it positioned next to my water heater and when the plumber replaced my water heater, water splashed all over it and it alerted me again. It is very water resistant as more water hit it than I anticipated. No feedback on the battery life as I only had it for a month. I went with Eufy over Ring as I like their ecosystem more and Ring always feels like they nickel and dime you for features.

Great product but needs a better alarm.
Overall it is a typical Eufy product. It is easy to set up and it just works. The only complaint is that the alarm sound it uses if water is detected is the same alarm as the security camera. It is very loud and you can't tell if someone is breaking in or if you have a drip under the sink. I wish it had a different alarm that was closer to a smoke alarm or CO detector alarm so you could tell what was triggering the alarm. It also doesn't need to be so loud since it isn't trying to scare away an intruder. I ended up having the alarm disabled and just be notified by the app. Both my neighbors and my dogs were very appreciative.

Saved me!
Ever since I bought a few of these, I’ve wondered whether they were worth the investment. I have Eufy equipment all over the house (robot vac/mop, video door locks, cameras, etc… Last week I was relaxing and got a notification from the one under the kitchen sink. I opened the cabinet doors and there I find a lot of water. There was a leak at one of the hose fittings. THANKS to this device, for t may have saved us a lot of time, effort and cost had it not be found for days (we don’t have a need to open that cabinet very often). So… not only do we t work perfectly, I added another one to go under the dishwasher. I also have one under the washing machine. This is one of those purchases you make and hope you’ll never see or hear from again. But I do, and thankfully so. When I pulled this one out, I noticed that the 2 year battery replacement was coming up in June. So I went ahead and completed that when I fixed the leak. I also went through the house and replaced the batteries in the others as well. After this event, I don’t want to ever allow these to not function. Great product.

Easy to Connect Sensor
Got this to monitor my basement/water heater area for water leakage (also alarms if the temperature goes "below freezing"). I already had an Eufy Homebase 3 station for other items at the house and this sensor connected easily. Once placed on the concrete floor and pressing the "sync" button, it popped up immediately on the Eufy Security app and was connected within a minute. Ten months on and it's still doing fine. Uses a CR2 lithium battery (provided) that's supposedly good for two years. Looking forward to never hearing from it.

Great Peace of Mind
Haven't needed it yet but the peace of mind is priceless. Recently went on a trip (in January) and didn't have to be as stressed about a leak from our old water heater. Easy to turn on and connect to eufy system and app.

Unable to connect. Tried on multiple home base 3 units. Keep on failing to connect.

For someone who lives in an area where basements flood in the winter, this product provides the peace of mind I need. Setting up was very easy, just putting in the provided battery and going through the steps in the app to connect it to my homebase. Through some testing I did, even the smallest drop of water will instantly send a message to my phone alerting me that water has been detected. As someone who travels a lot for work, it's nice to know I won't be unknowingly coming back to a flooded house.

Perfect as most Eufy products are

Tested these and they work very well. Time will tell how long the batteries will last. Also you have to have a Homebase for these to work. You can't just install them on there own like the cameras.

Started with a door bell that worked with the Eufy app on my iPhone. Added a door lock, S380 Home base, two Water/freeze sensors and a hard drive for the S380. Unfortunately I installed the 1Tb hard drive in the S380 before initially connecting the S380. Mistake, after several attempts to connect to my LAN I removed the hard drive and successfully connected the S380. After a firmware upgrade, I de-powered and installed the SATA drive easily including formatting the drive. Subsequently adding the water sensors and door lock was easy. The doorbell was not quite so easy because it was already installed on my phone app. In the S380 options you can re-direct the doorbell to the S380 so video is stored on the hard drive instead of the door bell. Looks like everything is up and running. Lots of options yet to play with! Would have been easier if I had everything in one place, there was a bit of running between the doorbell and the home base. Got my "steps" in.
