Returning customer
I wanted to write this review about the cake batter flavoring I had ordered recently. This isn't the first flavor I have ordered from Dolce Flav, I have order Pistachio, Birthday cake, and Ube. Hands down Ube is my favorite, but all the flavors I have bought have all been delicious! I have used them in drinks and food mostly. I love how much extract is in each bottle, it really does last, a little goes a long way. I feel the price is decent considering the amount of extract each bottle has. Right to the top of the bottle. Make sure you are careful when you first open the bottles, because they are so full you might need to take some of the extract out before inserting the lid with the dropper on it. If you don't you might end up smelling and tasting like your extract lol. The extracts blend well, both colored and translucent. The cake batter is delicious and goes great in whatever you put it in. I have enjoyed using Dolce Flav extracts and am looking forward to trying more of their flavors.

Chemical taste *Updated review
Iโm updating my review based on the customer service I received from this company. Times are tough for millions of Americans right now, my family included, so I was upset when my original purchase didnโt meet expectations. However, this company went above and beyond to make it right. Levi reached out to me and offered to send a different flavor for me and my kids to try. We got the cheesecake flavor and the cotton candy flavor and I am so so impressed with both of them!! The cheesecake flavor makes the best cheesecake flavored buttercream! Iโm thankful for this company, and for the kindness Levi showed me and my kids. I will absolutely be using them in the future, and I recommend them to you too! I wanted to love this and while it does smell good, it has a chemical taste that neither I or my kids can stomach. They eat everything, so thatโs saying a lot!! We tried it in cookies, buttercream frosting and I added a few drops to my protein shakes. We threw all of them away after a few bites/drinks.

Not refund eligible, so buy with caution!
Since this product is ineligible for a return, meaning customers HAVE to keep it even if it is diabolically disgusting and different from every other cake batter extract on the market, the only way for consumers to make informed consumer choices and have their consumer rights protected would be for us to leave a review of the product. with that in mind, here is my review! I use cake batter extract for certain very specific lattes and desserts. I have used various brands, and this one tastes like straight chemicals. I'm sorry for not being able to provide a more clear description of its taste, but I can say for certain that it does *not* replicate the taste of any other product on the market, including McCormick. I would *not* bake with this ever again. This literally provides no value for your money at all- at almost double the price tag of competitor extracts, you're basically throwing your money, and any drinks/foods you make with it, into the garbage. I can't fathom how they came up with an extract that leaves such a strong aftertaste, and doesn't taste anything like cake batter, but I do *not* recommend anyone get this thinking they're going to make a stellar sugar cookie latte.

Forget the haters
These flavors are amazing, don't listen to the bad reviews. I bought the cake batter, butterscotch, and ube flavors. They're all wonderful! I want cotton candy next. I use them to flavor regular ice cream, cream sodas, make cocktails, and put in my coffee. Some mediums need a bit more flavor to shine through (like coffee) but for the most part you only need a few drops, so these will last me forever. Except, don't attempt to first taste the flavor by putting a drop directly on your tongue lol

Eh
It's okay. Smells nice, but not much noticable flavor. I would say too expensive for what you get

Cake batter extract
Cookies I made tasted like birthday cake. I had to use more than suggested to get the cake taste I wanted, concentrate not as strong as I would have liked. Clear color. No leakage. The dropper is not measured in teaspoons, it would be handy if it was.

Perfect for coffee
I got this cake batter extract to make my own "Sugar Cookie" lattes. I love the sugar cookie drink from Starbucks but it just costs so much to frequent that place, I had to try making my own. At first I followed a recipe to make my own coffee syrup using brown sugar, almond extract, vanilla extract and this cake batter extract. It was okay but not very strong and I had to use a lot of it to get it to taste like a Starbucks. I ended up using 1 1/2 tbs of maple syrup plus a 1/4 tsp of cake batter in my morning coffee along with some heavy whipping cream. Waalaaa! Tastes like a sugar cookie latte from Starbucks!
