This is an exotic and classic kettle. Beautiful and exactly as in the picture. The whistling when the water is boiling can wake you from sleep from any part of your building I highly recommend it

I have never owned a stove-top tea kettle, and my husband wanted one to fill our little ceramic teapot we recently obtained. We had requirements: It had to whistle. I had to have a cap over the pour spout. The cap over the pour spout had to have a finger trigger to open it. It had to be crazy cute / pretty. We toyed with some very functional kettles that were stainless and would blend in with our appliances, pots and pans...and with black ones, that would blend in with our countertops and stove top, beige ones that would blend in with our backsplash - but then decided on one to stand out with pure cuteness and beauty with elegant lines. Cuteness and beauty aside, this teapot is extremely functional and checks all of our boxes as well. We love the safety feature of having the whistle. There are instructions inside for keeping this kettle in tip-top shape and looking beautiful for a very long time. We LOVE it! Great value for the money, as well as beauty and functionality. We got the Elveden Navy one. I want one of each! Recommended!

Bought it in blue for my daughter for Christmas. It's beautiful, and utterly charming to see it in person. Looks and feels way better than the pictures allow. It even got passed around, as everyone took turns checking it out on Christmas morning. It's not lightweight, it's solid and made very well - but not overdone. Easy to clean. A great value as a pretty, stainless steel kettle. Splendid & just perfect.

This is a beautiful tea pot that I haven't used it just sits on my stove its beautiful.

I hesitated to purchase this product due to negative reviews. However, it is stunningly beautiful. Works very well on my gas stove! It is a very large tea kettle so would not recommend for small stove tops. For best performance fill up to approximately 1 inch or less below pour spout this prevents the need for a pot holder to pour water. Also to avoid damaging kettle sides make sure your kettle is located directly over the open flame and use Med/low setting. This kettle heats fast even on low setting. Highly recommend.

While this LOOKS pretty, it is NOT ergonomically designed well. The spout (lift lever) is too short, needs to be longer down handle……your shoulder is distorted by the time you pour water from it

Beautiful addition to kitchen Have enjoyed tea at whistle time

I’ve had this kettle for two months now, yellowish discoloration has started to come on the exterior of the kettle, cannot be left on the stove near heat or it will be stained. Also, it is heavy and handle is designed too high for pouring. It really doesn’t work well for my hands struggling with arthritis. Also, make sure you grab the handle with a pot holder because the area gets too hot and silicone pad doesn’t cover the whole area your hand will be exposed to whilst the kettle is hot. Whistle and water capacity are great, Yes it looks beautiful, no, I would not buy it again. I’d prefer something lighter and more functional and with a sturdier finish that could tolerate heat indeed!

Unfortunately my item arrived damaged and was not the quality I expected for the price. I am still going to give it five stars as the seller refunded me my money without any hassle. I found and purchased the same one in prime condition at a local shop. I absolutely love this kettle, it is so cute and I like that the whistle it makes when it boils isn’t deafening but is still loud enough to get your attention. When it’s time for a new one, I will probably buy again.

The price is high but it’s a good quality teapot and very pretty.
