Very sturdy. Positions laptop screen even hight with monitor for viewing. Fan works good. Not to loud, 3 speeds, didn't test cooling temp change amount purchased for holding laptop higher. Comes with a tool to adjust tension of bolts that hold laptop higher and lower but didn't need to use it, enough play to adjust height. 14" laptop fits well stand is not bigger than laptop.

I’ve been using this for three months now and I love it. I usually leave reviews after using the product for some time just to make sure I get full experience, and this stand has worked perfectly for me. I work from home and study, so sitting a lot ever since I have used the stand, I could sit still correcting my posture. It’s really sturdy and the best part is cooling. You can charge it with c-type cable and if you laptop gets heated, you just turn on the fan and cool your it down! I definitely recommend trying this if you work, study, or for whatever reason use your laptop constantly. Best purchase ever!

I really like the material and components that were used in the construction of this laptop stand. The aluminum is lightweight and very sturdy. I was able to customize the various angular adjustments to meet my needs perfectly. The fan has three different speed settings and seems to circulate air fairly well. My only complaint is that the fan is just a little bit noisy. It's not so much that it's loud, but that it has a slightly wobbly sound to it. It sounds like the fan is simply cheaply constructed, but I'm very picky and sensitive to ambient sounds, which is why I noticed it. However, it's still a great product for the money and I'm sure that it is comparable to similar products, in regards to fan noise.

I'm so glad I opted for this (mostly) metal version, versus a cheap plastic one from a different seller. As we know, black plastic specifically, in gas off toxins that affect your overall health and hormones. So I usually go for lighter plastic, or - if I can avoid it - metal. Love the sturdy stand. It is not very loud at all, has 3 fan speeds, and the light can be turned on and off. Since I plug it into my regular outlet and not my laptop, the cable could be longer, but I am simply using one I had already. Otherwise, if you plan on plugging it into your laptop to run it, you'll be fine. Very nice addition to my workspace. I wish I had thought of getting this sooner. Also, super nice that the height and angle can be adjusted.

Raised our 14" laptop to a convenient height exactly in the range we wanted and held it well positioned at an angle. The adjustments feel firm and very sturdy. The fan runs well, rather quiet, and kept our laptop a noticeable few degrees cooler. Adjusts and swivels smooth and easy. Has a decent weight to it and feels very sturdy overall. Very satisfied.

The cooling fan is certainly the best part of this stand, but I worry about the actual quality and longevity of the piece as a whole. Surprisingly, the fan still works and was not the first thing that failed, as electronic components tend to be. The fan runs nicely and I feel it does cool off my computer to some degree during heavy use like small games and drawing programs. However, the joints and little rubber holders did not prove resilient. In just over two months after purchasing (and somehow just after the return window), nearly all of the rubber gripping pads have come off (and almost all of them have disappeared before they could be reglued). So be mindful to watch for both the large gripping pads where it holds the tablet and the small standing pads on the bottom to see if they come off. Alongside that, the joints do seem to loosen up just enough to lose the fight with gravity. I feel like I have had to readjust and retighten them way more than I should have to in order to keep them in a reasonable upright position (like the product images show). I can no longer return it, but I'm already considering purchasing another brand once I do a bit more looking and research. In the meantime, I'll possibly buy some more rubber gripping pads to glue in place of the missing ones and keep up the fight against the joints and gravity. It's not the worst stand I've ever owned, but be prepared for lackluster quality in some areas that will leave you a bit inconvenienced.

The Shuwei laptop stand has a nice blue grey shade. The laptop stand itself is light, yet sturdy since it is made of aluminum alloy. There are four suctions on the corners of the stand which secures the laptop to the table's desk and there are four suctions on the surface of the stand to secure the laptop. The bottom ridges hold the laptop when it is in a slanted position, so it does not slip off as well. You're going to have to add some pressure to the top or bottom ends of the stand to adjust it, so it can hold the laptop. There are four options for the fan button: off, low, medium, and high. The fan is very quiet and does a good job of cooling down my gaming laptop. Pros: - Sturdy and light stand; can hold large gaming laptops up to 15.6". Suctions are very secure. - Fan is quiet. Uses USB-C to keep it running. Cons: - Can be hard to adjust the stand in a specific slanted orientation. Not as easy to adjust compared to other laptop stands. - Running the fan requires constant USB-C connection. The stand's design is to have the USB-C directly connect to the computer and have the fan running simultaneously.

This is well made and a great design for protecting your expensive laptop. The height is adjustable for comfort and keeping your laptop cool.

Stand is very sturdy and well made but the fan is next to useless. It's very unfortunate. If the fan werent so grossly underpowered this stand would be amazing. If you are buying this with hopes that it has actual cooling capabilities for you laptop, you should look elsewhere.
