Adjustable Height Portable Bed Safety Rail Grab Bar and Fall Prevention Aid by Enable Medical Supply

After having fallen out of bed 3 times in the past 10 years, the last time I injured my arm on my nightstand, I decided I needed a way to keep me in bed :( I looked at various rails and they were either too complicated or needed someone else to help out. This has served my purpose well. I do hate having to use this, and wish I could've found something similar that would fold down easily to get out of bed. But I do like the cushiony handle. It's not too difficult to change the sheets. I just pull this out a couple of inches and then push it back in.

What should have been an easy assembly for a product turned out not.One of the spring tabs that you push down to pop up into the next piece; was not attached correctly. Ipushed it hoping it would pop up; instead it moved into the tube like it was not property attached. After trying multiple ways to try to reach it inside the tube, I had to abandon it. The rail could not be property secured. It was for a 91 year old Aunt returning from the hospital who needs a safety rail. Very disappointed however, I noticed it was made "in China" so....maybe not too surprised.

Do a trial assembly BEFORE you pack it up to travel. Instructions minimal and plastic packing in tubes needs to be removed. (used the end of a scissor)

Stronger, taller, better than the other brand I ourchased

I am stiffening up with age and I needed a little leverage to get into and out of bed. The rail was wider and sturdier than I expected just from the picture. I did need a little help, however, assembling the pieces. They were a little hard to push together.

Used between our adjustable twin beds.

Perfect for traveling and in motels.
