Response time is good. Do not like taking the micro sd card out to view pictures on bigger device. Viewing them on camera is ok but anytime you have to mess with that little card it's a pain. Camera has to be set up pretty close to where the subject will be because lens makes it look pretty far away. You can zoom in on the pictures with the viewer but it's slow. I can't use my camera just yet. I purchased the combo recommended with the SanDisk SD card. The camera uses the MICRO SD card, which I didn't notice until I had already opened the package. I can't return it and I have no use for it. That was money wasted already. I've ordered the MICRO SD card and will have to wait for delivery. I'll append this review once I'm able to use the camera, but so far I'm not very happy.Once I got the correct MICRO SD card, the camera has worked okay. Make sure you remove all plastic covers or the motion detector won't work. It's a learning experience. The few pictures it has taken are clear.
