I am using it with an M2 adapter and I have to unplug and re-plug to reboot.** A: reboots fine for me. There are issues with Raspberry Pi 3B+ (and others) rebooting but that does not seem to have anything to do with the USB drive attachment. Be careful when power cycling by unplugging the micro USB, I blew one of my Pi's into Silicon Heaven doing that.
