This dead soft copper wire is excellent quality! The 99.9% pure copper is perfect for gardening and electroculture applications. It is heavy gauge and not flimsy. The wire will support its own weight if needed but is flexible enough to work with. I used this in the garden. Good value.

I’m using this for electro culture. I spiral this copper wire on a stick or small pole, then stick into the ground in my garden. It’s said to attract energy that helps plants grow better. I am using this concept to support my plants in my greenhouse and those with copper wire have sturdier thicker stems. Easy to use, molds easily but not flimsy. I bought a second roll.

This wire is very stiff. None of my jelery cutters could cut it. I not only needed to use my son’s toolbox wire cutters, but I got blisters trying to cut it, and had to have my son cut it for me. He also got blisters. If that is what you are looking for, then do it. My problem was that it was not even raining, and it was delivered in a paper bag and it was wet. I was going to return it in case it tarnished, but it didn’t and I kept it. I made a spiraled bracelet that I used to practice weaving and design. What was in my head as a very very new beginner of jewelry design was not possible. But it is so strong that I was able to practice things I was learning, like weaving and wire lacing for butterfly wings, and I plan to figure out a way to use it for making decorative hair combs for my daughter’s wedding. I’m telling you, it is very strong. I would never think of this as dead soft, I’d say you could make woven car chains with it. Which is not in my wheelhouse. If you have a hammer and anvil, it would hammer really hard. I just have a beginner jewelry hammer and steel plate, and this wire laughs in my face.

This is my first purchase for copper wire so it is hard to describe except that it is the same as shown and described. It is a nice heavy wire and will hold up well in my mixed media art works. I will post a pic when finished.
