I lost a lot of my taste and smell when i caught that big bad virus 2 years ago and never got it back so from what i can tell it doesnt taste bad at all, i use a small measuring spoon and take a certain amount (marked inside of measuring spoon) and put it on my tongue and swish with water the swallow! DO NOT BREATHE IN WHILE TAKING IT BECAUSE IT BURNS THE THROAT QUITE A BIT. Within an hour of taking it me and Mr Sandman are sitting on the river bank perch jerking, it's the best sleep I've gotten in YEARS! This has nothing to do with sleep. In fact high doses of melatonin may make it more difficult to sleep. So if you take a few milligrams, this review may not be pertinent. However if you take it for other reasons, and take what most would consider large doses it is. Every time I begin taking this brand I get very strange weeping sores on my chin. The amount of fluid that is expelled is quite amazing. This is a problem I have not had with the other brands I have used in the past. If I stop the sores go away, If I start, they come back. I did this a half dozen times to make sure this was the cause of the sores. It definitely was. My conclusion is that this brand, and at least the batch I got is contaminated. Of course most of this melatonin was worse than useless and a waste of money.
