Quality product, looks and feels good, great value! - I REALLY like this swim suit and will probably end up buying again. I also bought the American Flag Greek Bikini style. They have great color choices. The cut is almost perfect. It does seem to dip a little in the front or at least you could say this is a small suit. I recommend buying at least 1 size up. If you do that, you should be fine. I have lots of board shorts and this suit allows you to swim so much more effortlessly and honestly, it feels like you are not even wearing a suit at all. It feels THAT good! I have also experimented with other Gary Majdell suits, namely the Classic Competition Trunk Boxer and the Contour Pouch Bikini. Those two take it to the next level. This suit is pretty minimal, thus more revealing, less family friendly, if you will. The Contour Pouch Bikini is fine for lots of places though and is truly a very comfortable suit to wear, and a close second to this one. Around the crotch is carefully tailored, holds your junk snugly and gives a modern, manly look. This suit looks and feels better "off to one side" position IMHO. "Junk down" is possible, but not comfortable for me after a short while. "Junk up" isn't possible unless you are very small there. The front crotch area is lined with soft, smooth material. The rest of the suit is unlined, but darker colors are quite safe as they are not really transparent when wet. If you are "at attention" extra care should be exercised and the string should be securely fastened or you could easily pop up and surprise everyone, not good! The back side coverage seems minimal. No crack showing IF you do what I do and that is turn the small white tag UP. That is kind of cheesy, I know, but is a good work-around. Otherwise, it shows a small amount of crack. Crouching, squatting, bending down to touch toes and twisting should be avoided, unless you are in a private area. At first, this suit takes some serious guts to wear, and you will get noticed. Once you've worn it a few times, you may never want to go back to what you had. This could become your new "go to" suit. I swim laps daily at the local Y and the suit stays on and has a simple, well-designed tie string. It is nylon or some synthetic flat-weaved string with endings having a better quality version of a standard shoelace end. It moves easily through the waist band and doesn't bind. It is neither too short nor too long, so it won't need shortening like some suits that have ridiculously long strings (Speedo). If you didn't tie it or removed the tie string, then diving would definitely be an issue. Even pushing off from flip turns could be problematic, depending on the force you use off the wall. This is a well thought-out garment, with quality materials and design. I have noticed loose threads around the waist from time to time and I carefully clip or gently pull them. I don't want to start an unravelling nightmare. I always rinse this suit in warm water, not cold, as recommended by others, and it seems to be holding up fine so far, but I haven't had it that long. After rinsing, I put it in the spinning centrifuge type dryer and then just hang to air dry. I would advise against using heat to dry any suit. As with all my suits, I try to avoid sitting directly on concrete. I use a towel. Also, my flip turns are sometimes too close and if I'm not careful, I scrape the side of the pool. This friction does add up over time and will reduce the life of the suit. This suit seems to be a good value and if it lasts for 8 months or more, then I'll be happy and would say that it really offers good bang for the buck. Having had several suits costing more than twice what this does, gives me some perspective on what features to look for and what reasonable expectations are. I know that suits of this cut are generally for young, super-slim, athletic guys, for good reason, they look really good in them. I, on the other hand, don't mind wearing what I want, even if I don't have THAT body. I don't lay out sun tanning and am not a serious body builder, but if I did, this suit would be perfect for that too. I just love to swim and this suit is a joy to swim in. It is really comfortable and feels good and looks good. Just having it actually encourages me to work out more! It is reasonably priced and well made. I don't have time to worry about what others will think. You shouldn't either. I recommend this suit. Get it! You'll be glad you did. This is a well-made bikini that is quite stretchy and is lined in front. My point of reference for all bikini swimsuits is the Speedo Men's โSwimsuit Brief Powerflex Eco Solarโ, a.k.a. โ1 inchโ bikini. Iโm 5โ-6โ, 136 lbs., wear 30 inch trousers, have a small butt, and Iโm straight. My go-to bathing suit has long been the Speedo Solar Size 30 which fits me reliably and quite tightly and has a relatively low rise. Iโve tried numerous other no-name bikinis from desertcart and always come back to the Speedo. The photo shows the Gary Majdell Menโs โGreek Bikini Swimsuit with Contour Pouchโ Sz. Small in comparison to the Speedo Solar Sz. 30. The Greek Bikini Sz Small has a smaller waist circumference than the Speedo 30 Sz. and fits me well, although itโs a little on the small side โ Medium probably would have been fine. The Greek Bikini has a lower rise and less overall coverage then the Speedo. The GM has wider leg openings than the Solar and a narrower waist band (true 1 inch). I ordered the Greek Bikini in a Small as I have previously found that other GM suits run slightly large (e.g., New Contour Pouch Swimsuit). As it turns out, the Greek Bikini seems to run true to size (smaller than other GM suits) and is slightly tight which is OK given my preference for tight suits and the stretchiness of the spandex. Next time I may order both a a Small and Medium for comparison. Pros: โข Runs true to size. Other GM suits I have tried run slightly large. โข Very nice material and construction, although fabric is a little stretchier than Speedo which makes the smallness OK. โข Pouch is small and tight - more like Speedo suits. This makes this skimpy bikini a little more modest than those with protruding posing pouches. โข Adequate butt coverage even in this skimpy suit. โข Front lining prevents view of junk outline. โข Less expensive than Speedo. โข Not made in Asia โ they are still made in Canada. Cons: โข The pouch isnโt really contoured, despite the name, particularly as compared to other GM suits that I have tried. The pouch will hold you in tightly like a Speedo, but you may show some side junk if you are really big. โข Although these have minimally adequate coverage for the beach, those who prefer a little more modestly may prefer the Speedo. Finally, Iโve looked for a bikini that is a little skimpier and less expensive than the Solar and this one is a keeper.

Almost Perfect
This is a great looking swimsuit. The medium fits my 32" waist comfortably snug like a swimsuit should, and the built-in drawstring will keep the suit on when you go off the high dive! The large fits well also, but with a little more room, and would be more comfortable for all-day wear. The back of this suit is full coverage, like "briefs". I wish they were cut a little bit higher on the cheeks like a true men's "bikini" swimsuit. Other than that they are perfect.

Exceeded my expectations!
Received this late yesterday (quickly shipped) and could not wait to get poolside. Love the print! Vibrant color! The fabric blend allows for stretch when needed and is lined yet very lightweight feeling. This is an extremely comfortable suit. The drawstring waist allows you to tailor it to your physique and feel comfortable when lounging or swimming laps.Thin straps at the leg openings allow for maximum are to tan yet gives adequate coverage so youโd feel comfortable wearing it anywhere! True to size in that I ordered a medium and itโs fits my 30โ waist (5โ-8โ, 150# frame) perfectly! This is my second GM suit and I am sure that the quality of the color will hold just as well as the other suit I have. Highly recommend!!

Shining gold fits perfectly showing off my buns
Fit is good. My wife loves this garment as it shows off my cute buns!

Good quality, narrow sides, full pouch.
I wear 34" in Levi's jeans and M in CK underwear, for reference. I ordered Large, and the waist fit perfectly. (Meaning, I ordered one size larger than I would normally.) The fabric is quite substantial, and so is the drawstring. Sides are narrow, and the design is similar to a posing pouch. Compared to a Speedo Solar, The rear is quite full, actually, and the pouch is more pouchy. Like, it stands out. A little too much for me, and a little more than the pics seem to show. But apparently others really like it this way. I took in the pouch a little with a sewing machine and it's more fitted now. Not sure if I would buy again, though.

True to size, great fite and quality
Pros: I know own 5 pairs of these fantastic swim bikini/briefs. They hold up with daily wear during the summer for water activities and even underwear. I always wear a brief or bikini under my swim shorts for extra protection and comfort. The cut is modest enough to allow for tanning at public spaces but still leave a nice tan line at the end of the day. Overall great product, I'd compare them to the Speedo Solar 1 briefs but maybe a little less coverage. For the price, you can't beat them.

I like them - they look great and are very comfortable!
These became one of my favorite things to wear. I replaced the string tie they give you with black paracord (with center strands removed) much more comfortable and a better look IMHO. I'm a 34" waist and 'Large' fits perfectly. My only complaint, I have two pair, one of them looks like the person sewing them was either having a really bad day or this was the first pair they had ever put together. The stitching was not straight, almost funny how bad they are. The other pair is fine. I really like them, I'm tempted to get one more pair. (Note I did not contact the manufacture about the bad stitching, though I probably should. I'll update this if I do, and describe how they responded)

Love these
Good basic suit for the price...I'm 5-11 #210 & require sz large in the coated fabrics as they don't stretch nearly as much as the regular nylon spandex ones in which case a sz medium fits me perfectly snug...just got the lime & love it! Edit- I now wear these in white & lime size small almost daily...

just the way I like it. Takes forever to dry
Fits low and fairly snug, just the way I like it. Takes forever to dry.

Feel like a Greek god!
Perfect for the slender man, rides low and comfortable, covers the necessities. The 'shoelace' tie makes wet removal without fumbling simple.
