Swingline 1 Hole Punch, 20 Sheet Capacity Hole Puncher, Low Force Plier Paper Punch, Black & Silver (74017)

These are awesome, what an upgrade from what I was using before. I needed something with enough "punch" to cleanly get through zip bag tops (items that will go on to peg board hangers) and these work really well for this. I've also been able to cleanly punch through 3 layers of thick cardstock that I've been using to make tags. Very happy with these.

I bought ye old classic hole punch at the same time, and there's no contest: this one wins.I've punched hundreds of holes in watercolor paper with this thing, and it stands up to it. The texture on the hole punch is very pleasant and non-slip. A particularly nice feature is how it collects the punched-out bits, and yet it's very easy to open and empty it, just a simple flap.

Ergonomics? Yes. Soft and smooth as butter on your creaky ol' joints.Punch? Clean and superb. No hanging bits.Clearance? Meh. You'll have to toothpick the punched paper out after each punch, literally. I do projects that need to be sight-aligned so this is a slowdown, but for clean cuts that don't hurt after a bunch of them, I'm ok with that.Thickness - OK. Not great, but not bad to the point that it makes me angry. Can get through one layer of pad-back type board, so that's more than I'd expect. Glad I've got this, way better than the classic ones you probably have in a drawer somewhere.

Get excited! This hole punch is a winner! All of my life I’ve had a couple of typical, cheap single hole punches lying about for the rare occasion that I need one. Never again! I had a stack of printing that required a corner hole so I shopped for a decent hole punch. Swingline? For real? I had to give it a try. Razor sharp, it slices holes effortlessly and its intelligent design requires very little effort. It’s an absolute pleasure!

What a truly amazing product it truly does punch through 20 sheets of paper plus some if you try I'm sure I probably shouldn't say that though lol. Anyhow I'm quite pleased with the product quality and it is made of a very strong metal I don't anticipate this ever breaking on me I could not be more than happy with this product

My purchase replaced a very old product that came too close to pinching me hand more than once and made me leery every time I used it. This is a well known brand name that I have bought many different products over the years and they have always performed very well. It is heavy duty with a much better design and well built.

Throw your old stainless one hole punches away! I was trying to punch a hole through laminated cardstock and was ruining my hand. I saw this, bought it, and it’s a game changer! Some reviews criticize that you can’t see exactly where you are going to punch. That’s true, but if you have a lot to do, find a common spot to line up and you can do a lot in a fraction of the time!

Quite a solid and sturdy hole puncher, wasn’t expecting it to cut through the card and paper as smoothly as it did. No cheap China wobbles or squishes when using it either, it feels bulletproof when it bites down.

I was hoping it would punch through a piece of paper that had been laminated (with a 3 mil thick thermal laminated sheet), and it does, with ease! The hole that the punch made is also not overly large, so it is perfect for making light bookmarks. Five stars.
