Living Proof Clarifying Detox Shampoo

This shampoo was great. First time I used it and saw a big difference. Leaves hair smelling and feeling fresh

Quality brand name shampoo. Works well on oily scalp. Fragrance is clean.

I’ve been using Living Proof solely for at least the last ten years. When they came out with a clarifying shampoo I thought huh, I never ever clarify because I’ve been using just their products. Maybe this means it’s a good idea, even though their products are technically “silicone free”. I have greying hair that’s turned wavy and very frizzy over time. As good as Living Proof products are, nothing seems to help the frizz and believe me, I’ve incorporated everything you can possibly do. Anyhoo I thought maybe the frizz is buildup. I gave this shampoo a whirl and finished with the Repair mask. I added two pumps of the Bond Repair after my shower and, ten minutes later, did my usual routine of their leave in conditioner plus the Curl enhancer. I don’t use heat on my hair. This is the next day. While I have to admit my frizz is the same (no fault of the shampoo-clearly my frizz was not due to buildup) what IS very different is the texture of my hair. It’s SO SILKY! The shampoo made my hair so squeaky I was rather afraid, but the mask rinsed out so sleek and smooth, I was shocked. My grey hairs are really sparkling today. Last month my mother told me my hair was looking terribly dry. Now, some of that is my apparently inevitable frizz, but some of it was definitely buildup. I feel this is pretty strong stuff but I’ll be using it once a month now to just get the layers of whatever off my hair.

I like this product because it does what it says on the bottle which is effective, however if you have color treated hair it does make your hair feel really dry. Smells good, good size, and cleans your hair thoroughly, doesn't feel soft after washing.

I bought this shampoo because I live in an area where there is very hard water. I use it once a week just to clarify my hair I definitely see a difference already. It smells great. I would recommend if looking for a clarifying shampoo.

I love this stuff! It works fantastic at cleaning out dry shampoo and product build-up out of my hair with out drying it out really bad. I still use a good deep conditioner after using it just like I would with any clarifying shampoo, but this detox shampoo is my new favorite go to.

I loved the smell but the amount of product doesn't worth the price. Im am not entirely sure if it does the job as my hair is thick.

Would highly recommend! After my most recent cut, my stylist mentioned she noticed a lot more product buildup in my hair. I purchased this after reading a few of the reviews and it absolutely helped within the first couple of washes. I use once a week, in place of my first shampoo, and the difference is absolutely noticeable. My hair is softer and can go a few days without a wash without looking greasy or slick. It smells like all Living Proof products, which is fresh and it lathers pretty well for a detox shampoo. Buildup can be handled in a salon for around $50+ so the price of this and being about to do it at home is more than fair!

We have hard water in France and this shampoo is the best! It doesn’t damage my color, the scent is lovely and doesn’t linger, and it really does its job. My only complaint is the price point but it is worth it.

Great for my thin hair and makes me feel like I’m at a 4 or 5 star resort every time I use it!

This shampoo is great I dyed my hair and it was far too dark I saw this advertised on the Amazon site and it took the colour down at least 2 shades after 2 washes but its recommended you only use it once a week.
