Not clear with activity requirements
Hard to understand what’s expected on the activities. It’s more guess work. But good for inspiration if you have a creative mind.

Not a speech therapy book;
It's not a speech therapy book as the name implies. It's a book about getting kids to talk earlier, how they pick up on speech cues as a newborn, games to play with your baby and toddler to develop speech earlier; but it offers nothing for articulation, lisps, etc. Pretty lame book: should be called - get your kid to talk by age 3 months. I bought it to help my 4 yr old with his speech therapy needs, had to return the book. Was not helpful at all for our needs.

The explanations are very clear. There are tons of fun activities to help kids develop their communication skills. I like the part where it discusses modern tools such as apps--I know some of them, and they are indeed helpful.

A must have for language development!
Found this very helpful to parents and toddlers, particularly with toddlers with communication challenges. This book is essential for the development of language for the toddlers, improving their skills and life. It highlights the correct pronunciation and vocabulary. With enjoyable tips, games and activities, this book definitely encourages toddlers and parents to improve and overcome the difficulties they are facing. I really liked how significance of ‘play’ is explained in the book. I highly recommend this.

Sometimes speech can be music to your ears!!…
I’m very interested in the spoken word and now I’ve got grandchildren I love to see their language progressing…..love the various ways you can encourage use of rich vocabulary…. Also the little word games that could help with sounding out the words👌

It's just a list requiring the purchase of more items.
This book is just a long list of things to do with "helping improve a toddler's speech" - easily Googled for free. I was under the impression this book was filled with workbook activities such as matching sounds (letters) to a picture of something that starts with the same sound (i.e. "sh-" matches with "shell") or identifying images on a page which all have the same ending sound (I.e. d-og, l-og, fr-og). Not "listen to different languages and have your child identify what language it is." I need to help my child pronounce "buh" instead of "puh" among other speech struggles, not point at things with a magic wand (as the book lists) and expect him to magically say the word correctly. I've already returned the book as it is in no way helpful.
