Excellent quality, exactly what I wanted.
Got on resell for less than half the price, passed all SMART tests and is a solid addition to my RAID.

So far so good. But I have had 2 of these fail in the past on my NAS drive. Its plug and play in my 4 bay WD PR4100

Multiple failures within 6 months.
I have four of these hard disks (6TB) sitting on my side now, and all but one have failed within 6 months. There is clearly an underlying problem with these HDDs and they are not fit for purpose. What a waste. One of them literally failed within the first week!

Excellent hard drive
Works perfectly and is quiet. I use it in my raid storage and which has four 6tb each some the storage capacity is great. It just slots straight in to the raid so is easy to install. The price is great as they seem to last longer the other makes of hard drives

Great Drive
This is the second WD Red Plus drive I have and never had any problems whatsoever. I have used other well known makes in the past but they have been a little hit and mis.

Drive spun up perfectly
The drive came exactly as it showed, was wrapped tight and delivered perfectly. I have the same 4TB WD REd Plus NAS hard drive that just failed(I have 1 redundant drive). I Have a DS1513+. i was a bit worried after reading the reviews that said that the drives come DOA, but they aren't, due to software loaded on the drive from WD. I popped my old drive out, popped the new one in. I did reboot even though my NAS is hotswappable. I just wanted to make sure. As soon as I powered it on, the drive spun up and showed healthy. I clicked on my Storage pool, ACTIONS, REPAIR and in a few hours, everything was right with the world again. Great Drive. Given that these drives were on the market for many years, I did expect that the price would have come down. But hey, I got the exact replacement drive, so I was happy!
