Great All-Purpose Exhaust Fan
I purchased the fan as a temporary solution before I could design and build the range hood. I was pleasantly surprised at its performance. The fan sucks up most of the smoke and smells and seemingly all of the airborne grease and it's not incredibly loud either. Easy to set up and clean. They included 10 replacement filters but it seems like you could just wash the filter regularly and replace when absolutely needed. I put two filters on if cooking with a grease screen just in case; probably a bit of overkill but the filters seem like they will last a while if cleaned often. Some fans are not recommended for gas ranges but this one seems to have no problem with it. After the hood is built I will most likely use the fan for exhausting when painting/staining and soldering/plumbing.

Its better than my ceiling power vent fan
Its fairly small in size but surprisingly very powerful!! It gets a bit loud, which is the normal thing for a high speed fan, but it does the job really well .. the filters are capturing the oil and the smell and filtering smoke. I usually turn it on along with my original stove ceiling fan to double filter. But it works really well on its own too. I highly recommend it, if you have an open kitchen area that makes your living room smells like cooking oil.

This exhaust fan did not disappoint.
I had high expectations for this exhaust fan and I have not been disappointed. It was purchased to clear the air from smells, oils, etc. as I cooked on a portable induction cooktop. It is powerful enough to keep the exhaust cleared yet quiet enough to not be a nuisance. Size wise it fits comfortably on the countertop and can be moved to absorb cooking exhaust efficiently. Overall, very happy. Does its job well.

Works well.
I was planning of making one of these myself for my house since I don't have a hood and can't install one till I renovate the kitchen which will be years from now. When I saw this I bought it right away, as it would cost less than making something like it. I am pleasantly surprised at how well it works. It is a bit loud but does what it advertises. I now used it a good 4 times 2 of which I was making burgers on the stove. Although it did not completely get rid of the smoke/smell, I think it did catch a good 80-90%. I went from literally having the whole house smell like my food to only the kitchen smelling like food, and I think we can all agree that that's a win. I just wished the filter was a little better, some grease particle went through landing all over my wall.

Helps to reduce cooking smells but very loud
I don't have a range hood and needed something to absorb the steam and smells when cooking. The build quality is very good. It is quite sturdy and not too bulky. It looks great and is easy to clean and use. It does help to reduce some of the smells, but not completely. However, it is incredibly loud, louder than the vacuum cleaner.

Great stove hood for small
Amazing!! This thing has saved me in our home while renovating and having no range hood. It is very powerful and works wonders! It sucks out so much of the steam and smell and fits great in the counter top. It’s a great option for small apartments or any where , that you need a stove hood and don’t have one. Awesome!!

Satisfied product to remove 80% of smoke
I’ve been using this product for almost four months now, and I’m quite satisfied with it. My apartment only has fans, which are not very effective in removing smoke. This small range hood works well to remove most of the smoke (although it’s not 100% effective, it’s 80% better than my fan). It’s also easy to install. Furthermore, it draws oils from the wok (shown in my last picture), which demonstrates its effectiveness in removing smoke. The only drawbacks I can think of at the moment are the noise it makes and the fact that it doesn’t completely eliminate the smell of cooking.

One of the most useless products I have bought.
My husband likes to cook with strong spices on really high heat. I got a little fed up with smelling like food and smoke all the time. So I looked into these types of fans and looked on Consumer Reports. I poured over reviews on this particular one since it looked like it had so many good reviews. It’s been quite a disappointment, especially for the price! Yes, as folk’s videos show it sucks in the smoke but it comes right out the other side blowing it out with even more force so it’s really making the smells worse! The thin charcoal filter does nothing to keep the smoke and food odors at bay. They literally come out the other side at a high rate of speed. We decided to put a small Levoit air purifier behind it as well to see if that will help capture the odors. But no, not even with the two of these two devices together as well as the range hood fan are the smoke and odors decreased. Save your money. It’s also very loud!
