Thoughts?** A: Hey there, thank you for your question. These Feed troughs are ideal for poultry and pet use and of course the ducks. They can be hung on the wall or on a wire mesh, This will ensure that the duck does not make a mess of its food. **Q: Are the dark green actually green?** A: I don't know about the green color. I ordered the dark blue and they are very pretty. **Q: Will the clips attach to 1/2 inch hardware cloth?** A: The clips will go onto a 1/2 inch hole, they unscrew and you slide them into where ever you want to hand them then the feeders, and they will screw shut. So, my answer is yes. Hope that helps. **Q: Is there any small holes to drain moisture or is there a set for water,( no holes) and a feeder,( drainage holes)?** A: No there aren't any holes in the feeders or the water .... They hook on the fence and the chickens and turkeys love eating. and drinking out of them. I can lift up the water bucket without taking it off the fence but the feed ones if it rains you have to clean out the wet food.
