I wanted something that I could use to store my kids books and school supplies so I chose this and let me tell you is really sturdy and very much affordable for the price. I never thought it was this big it looks really great have a lot of storage space the screw size was exact and fits perfectly. Its easy to assemble because I am a female and got it done in less than a hour. The strength of this bookshelf is top-tier tier you can store anything on it. It was a great buy!

This shelf is sturdy, lightweight, & so much easier to put together than the wooden ones (but the paper instructions aren't the best, watch the video they include in the carousel of pictures for the product- it shows you exactly how to do it. Honestly, just make sure the holes for the x-shaped reinforcer bar are on the same side, and you're good). Plus, it's an open bookshelf that gets plenty of airflow which gives me peace of mind for my books (I don't have to worry about mold due to lack of airflow). At this price point, $39 at time of this review, I wish I'd bought enough to line all my walls in bookshelves bc I'm not going to find a better deal for this quality. There was also quick shipping, and really secure packaging. Individually wrapped planks of wood & metal sides ,that were clearly labeled with the corresponding letter in the instructions. All the bags of screws were tightly sealed, had the exact amount needed, were labeled, and come with the hand tool you'll need to screw them in. I have nothing but great things to say, the wood seems waterproof & doesn't scratch either. Get these shelves! They were perfect for displaying some of my fav book series and merch on (see pics).

This book shelf arrived packaged neatly and all the pieces labeled. It was simple and easy to assemble, took around 30 minutes. Once assembled, the shelf is very sturdy and visually appealing. I love the color on the shelves. Can’t beat the price for a shelf this sturdy and nice. I actually use it to store all of my makeup and skin care .

I'm honestly really impressed with this shelf. It was well packaged, instructions were clear and concise, all the parts were even and well-made and the construction is very sturdy. I put it together quickly and filled it with boardgames. It fits perfectly where I wanted it and it houses a ton of games - exactly what I wanted for a good price!

The shelves a pretty sturdy. I was a bit skeptical about purchasing it because of some of the reviews on there which said it’s cheap, came with broken parts, screws don’t align etc. but I still took a chance and I’m glad I did.. Seeing I had to assemble it alone, it took me about 45 minutes to an hour for the first one since I bought two (and the instructions state that the screws are to be tightened only 50% at first). But I decided to not follow that instruction the second time and it took me half the time on the first.. Anyways it’s sturdy, very well put together, however I have it 4 stars because there are two particular screws which are impossible to put in on both of my shelves (where the top frame connects to the bottom on the right side) but it doesn’t affect anything as I still have an entire shelf.. and I also the X to the back holds it really well together..Otherwise it’s super sturdy..give it a try..(just have a little patience when you’re installing it)

I really like these book shelves and think they are decent quality and value. There were so many that looked exactly like these for twice as much and after reading through all the descriptions couldn't find anything to warrant the others costing so much more. I had initially chosen mid century modern ones that were solid but Amazon didn't want to ship those to Hawaii, they weighed over 70 lbs each so I don't blame them. I went with these because they were so inexpensive and lightweight that I could bring them up 3 flights of stairs by myself. I have to say that they are nicer than I expected and the assembly was 20 minutes with easy clear instructions. The rustic brown finish is fine with all my other walnut furniture, barely noticeable once books and chatskies are on the shelves. I don't have them loaded up completely yet, but they seem very sturdy and they provide a special plastic strap kit to attach them to the wall. These are more attractive than most cheap shelving out there, and being metal will likely last longer than the solid particle board type where the shelves bend and crack. If you have a lot of books, or heavy things to store you may want to go with shelves that have the metal bars underneath each shelf, these don't. That is why they are inexpensive. I created a little reading area in my apt and used one of those steel and fabric dressers between the bookshelves and it looks pretty nice considering I spent only $100 for all 3 pieces. I only plan to live here a year and will put these inexpensive pieces into a guest room or office once I purchase a house.

This shelf is great! So sturdy, stylish and easy to assemble. I was able to assemble it on my own. It could be used as a book shelf, but I use it as a utility shelf for office supplies.

This shelf was so easy to assemble. But I recommend a regular screwdriver to assemble rather than the small one they give you. I purchased 3 of these and I just love them. They are sturdy and are very roomy on the shelves. Good quality and a great price for these. I highly recommend!
