This review is going to be ongoing as I'm going to update periodically over the coming weeks so keep checking back for updates. I don't normally review skin products until a few weeks of use has passed but I felt that this one is different. Not just because of the price ( i have tested more expensive ones than this ) but because it's the first product I have tested that I have noticed instant results after the first application. First application.... Immediately I noticed my skin was a little shiny which some of that shine disappeared over an hour which has left a healthy glow. But what spurred me to write my review earlier than I normally would is I feel a definite improvement in my skin after only 2 hours. My skin feels flawlessly smooth. My cheeks feel plumper although I cant see any difference but they definitely feel it. No other lotion I have tried has ever had this effect so quickly and many not at all. After 7 days.... I am becoming more impressed with this lotion each day. After a week of use my skin looks noticeably healthier. People are commenting on it so I know I'm not imagining it. Although on close inspection fine lines are still there when I look closely in the mirror, from normal distance they appear to be less noticeable some appear to have gone completely ( although close up I can see them ) and Deeper lines appear reduced. It's a definite change and it's visible. This result is after only one week of using once a day. I'll continue to update as each week goes by I have ageing skin ( in it's 60s ) so face lotions have to work miracles to make any difference in appearance so I'm not expecting miracles as they haven't happened yet but I am going to keep a close observation now considering the unexpected results after only 1 week of using this product I will update again in another week with further results after using it daily for 14 days running. I'm not using any other products whilst testing this one, so any results will be purely this products doing. If this product works it will be worth every penny spent on it. We will see, so far it's looking promising Update.... 6 weeks now I've been using this lotion and there's a deffinate improvement in my skin and complexion. The deeper wrinkles are still there of course but the finer ones are reduced and much less visible at close inspection. I also stopped using the lotion for 7 days and my skin remained looking healthy during that time. I restarted after the seven day break and I can confidently say I am quite pleased with the results of this lotion. I haven't encountered any break out of spots , which happens with most face creams for me and my skin has a fresh appearance. I'll continue to use this lotion as I like the visible results Thank you for taking the interest in my findings

🔹INTRO & DESCRIPTION🔹 I was already aware of the Dermalogica brand as I know of several celebrities who use it, and it is often listed in the top ten skincare brands. I have always longed to try it, but the price to me was prohibitive. I was therefore delighted to have the opportunity to try the Pro Collagent Banking Serum via Amazon Vine. The pack is 30 ml and its main aim is to plump the skin to give a firmer appearance and smooth or prevent fine lines and wrinkles. 🔹OPINION🔹&🔹CONCLUSION🔹 In the past I have been rather skeptical of the claims made by some other skincare brands. I am currently going through the menopause, and my skin is more dry than it used to be. I also have sensitive skin, so I have to be careful what I choose to use. I have been using this serum for just a week now, and I can already see a difference in my skin. The dryness has eased, and my skin looks so much smoother. I love the fact that there is no perfume, and it is so easily absorbed. I also note that Dermalogica do not test on animals which is very important to me when choosing a product. It really has improved the look of my skin making it feel more youthful, and the fine lines do seem to have decreased. Going forward, my only dilemma is whether I can afford to continue using it, but on the other hand, can I afford not to ??

I think it's always hard to give an accurate review of products like this as they require prolonged usage to usually obtain the desired results meaning an impression after 3-4 weeks isn't really worth anything. With that in mind, I'll give a review of my first few weeks using the product and my general first impressions, so Dermalogica are a well known and regarded brand within the higher end of highstreet skin care, their products cost a premium so at this price point you are hoping for good results. The serum itself seems easy to apply to your face, a little really does go a long way and it has a nice none oily finish once applied, as someone with sensitive skin I'm pleased to report that I've experienced no adverse effects or reactions to this product, the jury is still out on if its having much of an effect, my skin feels and looks good after the initial few weeks of use but I've also started a healthy diet, fitness and lifestyle change for the new year so it could be continued to 5 fruit and veg a day, the 7-8 glasses of water or just generally looking after my health better. I'll keep using and update this review further as time goes on, but so far it's appearing to be having a positive effect.

Holy moly, £89 for 30ml of ‘serum’. For that price it had better be spectacular. Let’s see, shall we? Here are my main highlights for this product: ✔ Quirky-but-good packaging and bottle ✔ Absorbs perfectly, no residue ✔ Actually has a positive effect (which is rare) ✔ Fine with my sensitive skin ✔ No perfume ✖ Outrageous price (for me) So to begin, the texture of the serum is lovely and velvety, not thick or gritty at all. It goes on easily and absorbs readily. There is no residue, it just disappears. The hydrating and moisturising effect is very quick, less than five minutes. As for the anti-wrinkle / plumping effect it will take more than a few weeks to tell of long-term situation, but as of right now I have to say it does appear to be making a difference. The skin is slightly fuller, which gives the impression of less folds and wrinkles. It is only affecting the smallest of lines at the moment, but over time maybe it will make a permanent effect. Very few products like this actually do what they say, so this is a happy surprise. I have not had any bad reactions during this trial. Even though it seems to be working, for the price I cannot really recommend this. If money is no problem for you and you need something that actually does something then maybe give this a try. However, as always be sceptical and take photos to make sure any progress isn’t all in your mind. I am going to give this four stars despite the excessive price.

Female late 40's, dry sensitive skin and rosacea reviewing this item. The product comes in a nice glass bottle with a smooth operating pump button. This serum is supposed to help protect and preserve skin's collagen. There is no scent to this which is good for sensitive skin, the cream absorbs quickly with no residue or oiliness. It dries to a matt finish. As it absorbs quickly and the instructions say to apply moisturizer afterwards however I did not find it necessary. It has a cooling effect when applied. After using it for a couple of weeks on one side of the face as a test, for scientific purposes, I could feel a difference with a firmer healthier look with some reduced redness. The skin felt protected throughout the day and not dry in the morning after applying it day and night, so twice a day. The skin feels more elastic after applying. Having done a quick check on the Yuka application for harmful ingredients, it scored a good as it only showed low risk and no risk ingredients.This would make a beautiful present for a special someone as it is suitable for all kinds of skin. First impressions of this were positive, I know the brand to be provide premium/ luxury skincare that has a good reputation so I was excited to try it! I was also impressed to see that the product is Peta approved which is always a plus for me. Inside you get a 30ml/ 1 US FL 0Z of product in a neat little pump bottle. It says to apply 2-3 pumps to clean dry skin once or twice a day, followed by moisturiser. As it’s quite a pricey product for me, I’ve been using 2 pumps once a day followed by my usual cheaper moisturiser. The product is a typical serum consistency and smells lovely, it reminds me of the sea for some reason. It absorbs into the skin well and I’ve had no problems with any skin irritation despite having slightly sensitive skin. My moisturiser also applies well on top of it as does my make up. Results wise I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I already feel like I’m starting to see an improvement in my skins overall tone and also an improvement on how tired my skin looks. With that in mind I’d happily recommend it.

I must state right from the start that I'm going to be very tough on this product given its high price. I must also declare than I'm male, so I'm not the target market for the product. I went into reviewing this Dermalogica Banking Serum as a sceptic, and after using it for a couple of weeks, I'm still sceptical, though I will admit that it does work (sort of). As you would expect from a big brand, expensive beauty product, it comes well presented. The 30ml pump bottle is quite small, but stylish and nicely made. The instructions say to use two or three pumps per application. That's not a huge amount, but it does spread really well, so it's adequate. The serum has a silky, non-greasy feel, and it's quite light and fresh feeling on the skin. It absorbs well, leaving a subtle satin sheen. The instructions also say to use a moisturiser after applying the serum, so I did so. I used a fairly inexpensive branded moisturiser - nothing fancy. The big question is, "Does it work?" Well, the answer is yes, sort of. This serum is supposed to help preserve collagen in the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I'm in my 40s and have OK skin. Like most people of my age, I have early crows feet and brow wrinkles. This serum does appear to help with that. My skin definitely feels smoother and fine lines are less noticeable after a couple of weeks of use. However, and this is a big "however", I'm not the kind of person that has a very regular skin care regime. I wash my face twice daily and apply moisturiser now and again. So, I do feel that adhering to a daily cleanse/tone/moisturise regime would likely yield similar results. There's a lot of clever marketing, spurious "science" and kidology that goes on with all beauty products. If you search for "banking serum" online, you only get matches for Dermalogica products. Notice also that their "clinical proof" says tests were carried out on only 63 women over 12 weeks. I don't think this bottle even holds enough for 12 weeks! The advertising also states that it's "94% more effective in preserving skin's collagen for plumper, fuller skin." The caveat being, that's versus intreated skin, and that it was in-vitro testing (i.e. in a test tube, not on a person). Taking this into account, the claims are on quite shaky ground. This is a very expensive product. Yes, it is effective, but I don't feel it's really doing anything special enough to warrant its price. The main ingredient is water, which gives you a clue as to how much it must cost to manufacture. It's a very good, very expensive moisturiser, in my opinion. If it was half the price, I may've been kinder on it, but as it stands, I can't in all good conscience justify giving it a glowing review. If you can afford it, by all means try it. For anyone else though, stick to a regular cleanse/tone/moisturise regime.

This is a fantastic serum that delivers in its promises. It comes in a 30ml pump dispenser bottle and a little goes a long way - 3 pumps cover my entire face and a month of use I've still got product left. The serum quickly sinks into the skin without leaving your face feeling greasy and is perfect to use prior to moisturising. It really has some immediate benefits and effects and your skin feels nourished and moisturised immediately. It has a lovely scent and I suffered no adverse skin reactions from use. After using regularly for a month my skin health feels far improved - it's brighter, firmer and nourished. I do feel like the finer lines have been reduced back and I overall feel like my skin is in far better shape. At just under £90 it's expensive but you're getting a quality product from a well known brand - so if you want something that works give this a try.

I was really skeptical at first and hesitant to buy because it’s pretty costly. But I’m so glad I did. This has quality ingredients that feel like food for the skin and my skin soaked it right up! I’m in my late 30s and lately my skin had been looking/feeling duller and stressed. I have been using this for 2 weeks and it gives me this natural shine I used to have in my 20s. My pores are tightening and the skin texture is smoothing out. My acne scars are looking less noticeable. To know that I am preserving my collagen is an amazing feeling and worth every penny. I’m now buying this for my mom to try!

I previously tried LaRoche Posay products after going through their AI skin analysis but even so the recommended products irritated my skin. I decided to give this line of products a try. I's a bit more pricey than say Cerave, but I feel the line of products have improved my skin tremendously. I had large pores, some hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, and some extremely dry areas around my mout, and dark circles under my eyes. Plus I would always get tiny itchy bumps whenever I went outside. Using this product line has done wonders with no irritation. This particular product feels so good. It leaves your skin dewy but not greasy and a small amount goes a long way so don't be alarmed by the size of the bottle. I would definitely recommend and will buy again. I'm 53 and African American with very sensitive facial skin.
