Really good GPS.
Takes a little bit to set it up and figure out all the features and how to work everything because as usual the directions are severely lacking and almost useless! Suction attachment for windshield is excellent, touch screen works well and is a good size.

This is a tool of last resort.
This product is full of glitches. It gets lost easily. It has two choices of routing. It can go the shortest miles or highest speed. It is very car centric and routing is normally the worst for trucks. It is at best a way to find an unfamiliar destination. It shows many roads as not fitting your profile but you will find that they are not posted as truck restricted and in fact are safer than the recommended route. I updated the unit and now it is no longer compatible with their mydrive app. Realize that it is not better than goggle maps, just more expensive. If you know your city trust your knowledge and not the unit.

ALMOST PERFECT
I like almost everything about it. Speeding alert, self dimming, great suction mounting, lifetime maps, automatic updates, traffic cams. The things I did not like about it, that should be on a trucking GPS and are not, are 1. No state line approaching notify (this is on my other 2 non trucker GPS units) 2. no upcoming weigh station/permit location notify . The third thing I did not like about it, is the manual that came with it was not good at all, telephone help would not help until you agreed to purchase warranty and wanted your credit card number, and had foreign accents I could not understand anyway. It was a Christmas present and I am still online trying to find out how to use it.

Best gps for truckers,no doubt
Man this ting is so good, went to New York and it routed me perfect…and you know the low bridge ting over there. Once you master the right settings its on,update with wifi(might be quirky)but will work and for live traffic download the mydrive app and connect with bluetooth. Fast, good display, very well made truck made

NOT SURE YET!!!
I have been using this for a few weeks, but there are some problems that can only be rectified by using it for a bit longer and trying to get a good feel for it and how it operates. So far I don't like how the processor is a bit sluggish while I am on the move and it is taking to long to load my new request. Or how it does not display cross streets when I am driving to two cross streets and no address as is how I conduct my business for delivery, huge problem! I have to resort back to my I phone which gives you cross streets and is really quick at displaying my needs. I wanted the TOM TOM to be the new and only navigation in my truck so I could use my phone for other things as needed, without having navigation interruptions, of any kind from my incoming emails, phone calls, etc. Also, TOM TOM does not give you alternate routes as you proceed on your way to your destination, only one rout that is a huuuuge mistake on any driver that does not get multiple routes to choose from, I don't know if there is an option in settings to adjust this, troublesome to say the least. As of right now the TOM TOM is running next to my phone in my truck, but only is looked at to see upcoming streets, my phone is much better at getting me there reliably. I thought that since this is a navigation unit that it would have these basic functions down pact, but so far it looks like a Mercedes with a Hyundai engine inside. Honestly, I don't know what to do with it, to late to return it, and am concerned that it will never be better then I am hoping for. In its defense, there are a few bells and whistles that are very cool, and I have to do more research before I say it is bad or great, so maybe I will get the proper instruction for the adjustments that I need from going to their website and all will be well? In it to win it.

This is a little power house.
This is my first time purchasing a Tom Tom GPS. Model 620 for trucks. I have always used Garmin and just returned one This unit is user friendly for set up It takes an SD card for additional space. It was half the price. I am extremely happy with my purchase. And highly suggest for truck drivers.

I bought this for my RV
An informative and responsive screen packing in information without being too intrusive; a sign of good product design. I've seen the other reviews.. mine has never led me wrong so far. Maybe I haven't had as much road time as others or just did a better job with the configuration of mine, I don't know but so far this has beaten the pants off the garmin, co-pilot, and other hard and soft gps systems I've used in the past. UPDATE: Tomtom's recent software reliability issues and website problems with mydrive have been awful. Their support for the issues they caused was equally AWFUL! This unit was good at one time but tomtom ruined their own product. Also, if you need help from tomtom prepare to experience a barely english speaking frustrating embarrassment. I'll begin shopping around for a better unit and I highly recommend you avoid anything that tomtom makes or touches for the foreseeable future.

Buyer Beware, Not sure where this device works.
My Drive App – Does not know I am in Canada, gives me American look ups. Missing Canadian points of Interest Plan a route on app, send to GPS, GPS reroutes into some weird route. Continually sends notifications on the phone, even though notifications turned off. GPS 620 Trucker Used in South Eastern Quadrant, Saskachewan, Saskatoon City east to provincial border, south to International • Maps 2+ years out of date. Major highway construction around Regina, Saskatchewan not there, completed over two years ago. As a trucker these are really needed. • Road around Saskatoon listed with wrong names, no speed limits, these roads have been named for many, many years. • Set do not use gravel roads, yet uses gravel roads • Posted speeds and GPS do often not agree. • Route mapping have no idea how it works. Use Google Maps to plan route, GPS useless on the route. Vehicle Set as Semi-truck. • Routs (Truck) on roads that are NOT truck routes. • Bridges heights? • Random speed limits that do not match posted limits • Not sure what max speed, weight in truck setting seem to do nothing. Worst and most useless GPS I have experienced, Maybe just be my area of Canada, but had to return.
