Been shaving for years and have tried them all! This product wins in every category! I get an incredible smooth shave and my face feels great when done. I always feel like I have gotten my best shave. The scent is pleasant as well. You will notice also, you use less and it is very foamy which is ideal.

I've been exploring new possibilities for a shaving gel ever since realizing the one I was using had an ingredient that I'm allergic to. This is a seven-ounce can of rapid foaming shaving gel designed for men. It's free of alcohol, dye, and parabens. It includes sea kelp and Vitamin B3. It's designed to cleanse, protect, and hydrate the face. This is a bit more than I usually pay for my shaving gel (or cream). However, it doesn't contain my allergen (aloe) and I really wanted to try it. The bottle has a pump dispenser, though I'll admit it took me a few seconds to figure it out. Once I did, everything was fine. The gel dispenses easily and smooths on to the skin quite nicely. It does foam pretty rapidly, though I'll admit I didn't find that lather quite as rich and thick as I expected. That said, it works quite well. I've not had any issues with breakouts or redness. That's exciting given my sensitive skin. I'm pleased about that. Overall, I'm very pleased here. There's a definite scent to it, though it's mild and far from overwhelming. This is a good option for sensitive skin, especially those like me who are also allergic to aloe. This is a definite option to become my new go-to, though I'm not completely blown away by it. That said, it does the job and it does the job well.

Day 1: seems to work fine. It doesn’t smell like vegetables like people say. It smells like cedar and orange peels like the can says. The fragrance is subtle but very pleasant I almost want it to be stronger ALMOST. I feel like they probably got the right balance. I use a brush and when I lathered this onto my face it was thick. This feels thicker than other cheaper shaving gels I have tried. It feels robust. I know this isn’t shaving soap(haven’t had the luxury of trying some yet). However the thickness of the gel on your face actually feels nicer tbh even for my sensitive skin. The gel feels cool and this DOES have MENTHOL. It’s stronger than the cheaper gel I had purchased(edge sensitive skin). Invigorating! There is no color dyes in this gel! I LOVE that! Why put extra chemicals on your face for no reason? Why does my gel have to be a cool color. Colorless is wonderful. It’s an expensive shave gel but at this point I’m thinking it’s worth it. I will update the review if something goes wrong with this product. I did see everyone saying theirs arrived damaged and the button didn’t work or they only got a handful of shaves out of the can. These are things that I will monitor and report back on. I’m noticing that the way my item was packed in the box the can could have become damaged. You’d think they would use bubble wrap or something around the can to brace it in the box. But they just balled up thick paper. This might be why some reviews are saying the can is arriving damaged. As for the button on top. It feels different than a normal shave gel can. Not bad. It’s a twist lock top can and the button is small and soft underneath the rubber finger grip ontop of the can. But I think it’s kinda cool honestly provided the button doesn’t stop working before the gel runs out. But for me I feel like so far I got the product as advertised. A little pricey but a little gel should go a long way. And my skin honestly felt less irritated than with my previous shave gel. Updates coming!

My boyfriend loves this product it helps him get a closer shave without leaving razor burn. I use it as well on my legs and I like it. Would buy again.

Better than the previous one, very smooth feel after shaving

This Gillette Labs Rapid Foaming Shaving Gel for Men, Alcohol, Dye and Paraben-Free with Vitamin B3 and Sea Kelp is great! It only takes a small dab to lather-up for a great shave. Fresh smell and feels good on the face. This is the 4th time I've ordered it and I will use it as long as I can get it!

What a great product. Nice smooth and calming feeling after shave. Best shaving gel in the market. I always used Nivea Men sensitive but this product is far superior than Nivea. Not going back to any other shaving foam.

Gillette really blew this thing out of the water! I have absolutely adored this since I first used it. You have no idea how easy it is on your skin and how to apply it. It's going to be one of those shaving creams I'll be using for a very, very long time.
