GOOD FOR MULTIPLE USE

This cable came nicely packed and immediately gave the impression of a high quality premium product. Indeed it incredibly well made and there is absolutely nothing more I could have asked for in terms of build quality. It can support up to 240W, though I've not had any device which would put it through its paces on that one. The trade off for this higher power capacity is that the cable is somewhat thicker than lower powered cables. Interestingly, it has a T-junction layout with both USB-C and lightning connector. I've had it charging USB-C laptops and android phones with no issue. The lightning connector works well for both an iPhone 13 Pro as well as a 2nd Gen iPad Pro 12.9. The big downside here is that you cannot plug both devices in at the same time, mainly because any one device device will block the ability for another to connect (I've uploaded a picture to illustrate). There's also a technically neat feature where a metal prong comes out of the other connector to prevent two devices plugging in at once (even if you were able to space wise). Overall this is a well made cable, however it's really expensive at £40 at time of review. Also, it's inability to plug two devices in at once is a bit offputting given other cheaper cables can achieve this. However if you're afetr something which can handle over 100W, and you're after something with good quality construction and don't mind paying a premium, then this could work for you.

Cable worked for a couple of months. Now constantly disconnects and stops charging -any device I try and charge proving there is a fault with the charger.

Having a 2-in-1 connector makes this an ideal cable for Android and Apple owners as you won't need to ask if someone has a specific cable anymore. Whilst the cable was a bit stiff over the first couple weeks of using, this has gotten more flexible but is still very durable and should be a long-lasting cable. Charging speeds are brilliant with this - noticeably quicker than your average cable. However, do keep in mind that you will need a mains plug that is capable of supporting the output of this. At a length of 2.4m, this should be more than enough for the everyday user. There is even a cable tie included which is great for keeping it looking neat. The only negative I have is the price, which is £39.99 at the moment. Although the charging speeds are quick and it has a 2-in-1 connector, I feel it would be much better buying separate cables as this would be a large cost saving. Searching for alternatives, I can buy several cables for both lightning and USB-C for the cost of this single cable. Overall, I think this is a really solid cable that does a brilliant job. Charges devices quickly and has a 2-in-1 connector which is compatible with pretty much all modern phones right now.

This is by far my favourite cable partly because the generous length of the cable allows me to use it at my desk and in bed with no tugging or pressure at the phone socket. The bigger issues for me is that the cable means that I can charge both Lightning socket and USB-C socket devices using one cable. This isn't just a convenience issue but rather, I think, a necessity to prevent waste. Lightning is soon to become a legacy standard and yet my old iPads are still working well and will be for another few years at the very least. I don't want to buy - and can't really afford to buy - multiple cables just because the port standards have changed between older iPad models and newer iPhones/iPads. Cable waste is also a big issue. This cable gives me the best of both worlds and already I am using it to charge an iPhone 12 (Lightning) and iPad Pro (Lightning) and an iPhone 15 (USB-C) and an iPad Pro (USB-C). It also works wonderfully with a family member's work Android phone. The cable is exceptionally sturdy both in terms of the flex and the wonderful looking outer cable shield, which has a braid design with tastefully speckled fabric, and in terms of strength based thickness. The cable moulding at the device end is very sturdy with a rigid plastic mould. I am able to use the device whilst charging (iPad and iPhone) without making allowances for the shape of the double socket connector. In bother Lightning charging and USB charging position, the connector doesn't get in the way. For me and I'm guessing for other people who use multiple Lightning and USB-C devices, this cable is a game changer and especially in terms of reducing cable waste. It also looks great. The fabric shielding has a stylish look and the cable fastener looks very professional. I strongly recommend it and I will definitely be buying more of these cables.

Charging has always been fast and reliable, whether I’m using it with a laptop, tablet, or phone. 👍🏼 For the quality you’re getting, I think it’s well worth the money. Native Union nailed both the form and function with this one. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try, especially if you’re tired of flimsy cables that fall apart.

À défaut de la prise universelle, ce câble bi tête est le compagnon idéal lors de tout déplacement, bonne longueur et solide, seul le prix est excessif pour un câble mais les qualités sont indéniables, donc un bon rapport qualités/prix. Très recommandé pour un usage nomade.
