I actually ended up with setting brackets 3 1/2" in front of tubs lip center. My one complaint is the wall anchors provided didn't work. I didn't hit studs, so i needed anchors. It looked like the type provided would cinch up against sheetrock when tightened. I tested one before committing to use the anchors that were provided. Their anchor did not tighten up and screw turned, and didnt tighten. Apparently they were designed for 5/8" thick walls, not 1/2". So i push it into wall, then used screw in wall anchors each supporting 75 lbs. That did the trick. Mounted the 2 wall brackets, put rod a bit lower then recommended. I put my shower curtain on rods temporarily to guestimate the best height. Once brackets in, rods slide into each end and are secured by set screws. Easy peezy if you use “better“ wall anchors. If you hit studs, it would of been even easier! Rod is sturdy and works just fine.

Large curve

Very high quality and easy to install
This was a beautiful, high-quality shower bar. Unfortunately, our smaller bathrooms with the commodes too close to the toilets were not a good fit for these, as they stick out quite a lot (we didn't take into account fully). We ordered straight shower bars and returned these easily, as always with Amazon, so we are very happy!

curved rod
perfect black matte curved shower curtain rod. Gives more space inside the shower with the rod having a bend in it vs it being straight like a typical shower rod. great quality and very sturdy.

Fit great, looks great and was easy to assemble and hang.

Very useful
Gives you a lot more room in the shower and makes it to where the curtain does not stick to you or make you feel claustrophobic. I really like the way it makes the shower just feel larger.
