Good quality but far too sweet
Pleased to say they have a decent use-by date, bought them in August, date is for Oct. As others have said, these are individually wrapped which also helps them last longer and makes it easy for grab and go food. They are light and flaky and delicious. I've only given 3 stars however, because they are incredibly sweet, there's far too much sugar in the pastry alone, before you even get to the chocolate filling. And the chocolate filling isn't the best, it's OK, but most chocolate/choc-hazelnut pastries have better tasting filling. Considering how sugary/sweet the pastry itself is, I'd prefer a plain version of thos, without a filling! Croissants are not meant to be this sweet. It is a shame that these are the only real option for croissants here, aside from the Morrisons ones, which is very limiting as you're locked into a ยฃ40 Morrisons-only shop.
