Amazing and affordable piece of exercise equipment!
Super simple to put together. Took a matter of minutes. I did use my own tools vs the ones that were provided. Very quiet piece of exercise equipment. I use it before work and listen to music with ear buds in place while the rest of the house is sleeping. After work, I use it again while I watch concerts on YouTube. I am 5'3", weigh 110 lbs, and wear a size 7 shoe. If you are tall and have larger feet, this may not be the machine for you. The pedals are not terribly long. I have a drop ceiling in my basement, and I am short enough not to have to worry about hitting my head on the ceiling. I used to have a Tony Little Gazelle that I really liked. I just don't have the funds to replace it right now. This Air Walk Elliptical doesn't take up as much room and is very easy to maneuver to store, more so than the Tony Little machine.

I can't stay off this thing! Love it, Love it!
I've never been athletic, plus exercise must be minimally fun for me to stay with it. I wanted something to keep near my 'work station' in my home office, and that would allow 'no excuses' as far as weather, time of day, etc.. I had gotten out of shape and wanted something low impact (old knee, back and neck injuries) but effective enough to get me back to a decent level of fitness. The Sunny Air Walk Trainer is exactly what I was looking for. Took me about 10 minutes to assemble, was easy to do, machine seems very well constructed and sturdy. So far, I find it doesn't make any noise and operates smoothly. Note if you are short: I am just under 5 feet tall... I temporarily put the 'abdominal pad' in place, and got on the Trainer. The pad, at its lowest setting, hit my upper chest! Needless to say, I left the pad off. Seems like I would have had less freedom of movement with it on anyway, and I don't feel at all unstable without it. I work at home and have the Air Walk Trainer set up in my office. I do 12 minutes while watching a video on the computer while I'm exercising. I plan on working up to 20 minutes a day. Being 55 and sitting way too much for work, I started having a timer on my computer go off every 11 minutes whereupon I stand up and move around for a minute. This habit has made a big difference in how my joints and muscles feel at the end of the day. But now, my minute of 'moving around' is jumping back on the Air Walk Trainer for a minute (I use the timer on the computer that comes with the Trainer, which btw, seems to work fine). Sometimes I'll do 2-3 minutes... I find I just want to keep going. Doing this 5 times per hour, I get in quite a few more minutes of exercise by the end of the work day. For the money, this is a pretty awesome little machine that takes up very little space and does the job for someone my age (55), weight (115) and fitness level (medium low but now going up!). Some years back I had a Gazelle Elite which was okay... but it took up 2-3 times the space, the stride was too long for me, and the pedals were too far apart, causing hip pain. The Sunny Air Walk Trainer is just the right size for me. I love this thing! I had been walking outside but I definitely get a much better 'burn' and workout with the Air Walk Trainer. I'm convinced it's worth every penny and more, and that it give me a routine I can stick with on a daily basis!

Better than expected
I bought this, willing to take the chance because of the low price, but not expecting much. I wanted a machine I could use at home, something like the elliptical I use at the gym. But home ellipticals are too big for my place. After reading the reviews here, I decided to try the Air Walker. Turns out, it is better than I expected. It was super easy to put together. I didn't need help, and it took all of 5 or 10 minutes. Like one of the other reviewers, I didn't like the stomach pad. It's just a nuisance and doesn't seem to do anything. Once that was off, I felt free to move in a nice stride. Though the center does wobble a little, I can tell it's simply from the movement, and it's minor. The machine is absolutely silent, and the movement free and smooth. This is a no-impact workout. My only complaint is that it's a bit too easy. I find though that I can go as fast or slow as I want, and by either leaning forward or backward, I can change which muscles I'm using most. I'm also finding I can adjust the main work load from arms to legs, or use them evenly. What would be a nice improvement would be some kind of resistance adjustment. But as is I do get a good workout, and spend 45 minutes to an hour on it daily. This allows me to cancel my gym membership, as I also have dumbbells I use at home. The machine sits nicely in the corner of my bedroom, as it has a low foot print and about a 14-17 inch stride, which is perfect for me. I'm happy I bought it. It seems well made. So I'll see how long it lasts with daily use. UPDATE- June 22 After only a month of every day use, I have found I just don't get the workout I need on this walker. I ordered the Schwinn 450, which is giving me a great workout, and I'm keeping the airwalker for back-up, or to use while watching TV. The airwalker still works fine, but I just don't get a workout on it. It was be nice if it had some kind of resistance that could be applied. Also, the straight odd motion seems to give me a bit of a lower back ache. I didn't realize that was what my ache was from until I switched the the elliptical which allows for natural leg movement.

Great Gift to my Health!
Great exercise machine. Low impact, no stress on the knees, easy glide, you can feel it working your arms and legs, and it’s a quiet work out. No noise. The machine itself was simple to put together, and folding is easy. It doesn’t take up a lot of space so often, I don’t bother folding it. Just love the ease of this machine, I’ll be in shape in no time! Just love it! Thank you Sunny!

It's not a Tony Little Gazelle
I bought this to replace a Tony Little Freestyle Gazelle that finally broke down after more than fifteen years, and I wish I had spent the money on another Gazelle. For someone who has trouble walking, this might allow them to get some movement and exercise in their legs, so it's not a useless device, but it's important to recognize that it's not a Gazelle. To begin with, I was screaming at this thing before I even got it out of the box. Every component is strapped down, wrapped tight, and taped securely to rigid cardboard pieces and blocks of styrofoam to the point where you might get more exercise taking it out of the box than you would working out on it for an hour. It's impossible to remove the components from the box without breaking up the styrofoam blocks, which leaves little styrofoam beads all over the floor and sticking to your clothing and the sides of the box. I have a cat, so I am sensitive about having styrofoam beads in the environment. So, have a vacuum handy, along with scissors and a knife. If you compost your cardboard, as I do, be prepared to spend a long time peeling tape off the box, but I can forgive that, given that it is a heavy device. Once you get it out of the box, you will find no instructions other than a sketch of the components and the device. There are videos available that can be helpful, but they won't necessarily show the assembly of the same model that you have bought. Throw away the provided wrenches; you will appreciate being able to use real tools to assemble it, and you will probably have to resort to real tools to tighten everything sufficiently anyhow, so you may as well have them handy from the start. Despite the lack of instructions, the assembly is not so difficult. My biggest complaints are the packaging and the device itself. Comparing it to the device it was intended to replace, it doesn't do well. The abdomen or chest protector doesn't allow me to stand upright. Rather, I would have to lean back just a bit, placing stress on the handles that I am not sure can sustain it. Compared to the Gazelle, it has a flimsy feel. I have it on a ceramic tile floor, with a rubber mat under it, but it does not feel very stable. With the abdomen or chest protector removed, I can stand upright, but the range of motion is insufficient for a good workout. I'd estimate I'd have to spend a couple of hours on this thing to match the exercise I get in 20 minutes on a Gazelle. The resistance bands fall off every now and then during use, but they do help the device function as an exercise machine. However, I couldn't even complete a 5-minute workout without one of the bands falling off. I would have preferred a backstop on the pedals, but since the range of motion is so slight, I don't suppose that will matter. I do like the cellphone holder, though. I am keeping the device because I'm not in the mood to take it apart and try to get it back in the box, but I wish I had forked out the extra bucks for another Tony Little Freestyle Gazelle instead. I am giving this three stars because it's not without use, and will provide an alternative to some of the other things I do for exercise, but I am going to miss the Gazelle. I have a feeling this won't last long, so I might be able to replace it soon. It doesn't take up as much space as the Gazelle, but I'd gladly sacrifice that space for a machine that feels more durable, sturdy, and stable, and that allows for a better workout. My suggestion: foot the extra bucks and get a Tony Little Gazelle. Later... After using this machine for a while, it's not as bad as I originally thought. If there were an option for 3.5 stars, I'd raise my rating. The tension cable stays on when it is at its tightest, but it falls off regularly at the other two settings. As compared to the Gazelle, using this machine is not nearly as smooth; the Sunny Elliptical is noisier, and I'd prefer a larger range of motion. I don't understand the abdomen/chest protector because I can't imagine a body type in which this would work. I tried putting it back on to see if there was a setting that would let me use it without bending over backward while using the machine, but there wasn't, so I removed it again. I see that most of the reviewers paid only $99 for this; at that price, I would have given it a higher rating, but I paid $199 for it, and wish I'd have paid for for another machine.

Excellent quality and Value
Ok I wanted to wait a few weeks before I gave an honest opinion. We’ll, I love love love this little machine! It’s nearly silent, easy to use but gets that heart rate up there. Finally an exercise I truly enjoy and do not dread. I can tell I’ve lost inches already! I can’t believe it’s down to $79 bucks now, I paid 89 for mine and was happy. It was simple to put together, very compact and easy to move around. I’m only 4’11” so the stride is more than enough for me. The little timer / step counter works great, just push & hold to clear for your next session. TIP I did not use the support bar it just gets in the way. If you lean forward a little you’ll feel more in the back of your legs & butt. Do a slight bend in your knees and a slight lean back and WOW you can feel it in your Abs! I can’t say enough about this mighty little glider. Thanks Sunny Health for helping me get back into to exercising again!

It gave me a headache. Literally.
I've been thinking about getting an elliptical for home use for quite a while now. After a lot of research and a nice tax refund, I finally decided to pick this one up. It's a little hard to find reviews for it, but I was hoping that the fact that it wasn't completely cheap (you can find ellipticals for less than a third of the price of this one - sure, they're probably going to break your leg when they decide to fall apart, but they're there) would mean it was going to be worth it; after all, I'm 6'3" and needed to find one that had a longer stride length. Now comes the fun. The first problem occurred when UPS sent me an alert on the day of delivery, stating that they damaged the box, but that they were still going to deliver it. Of course, it never arrived. Amazon's consistently great customer service helped me immediately and shipped out another one for no extra charge, at least. So, almost two weeks after I originally ordered this (with Prime), it arrives on my doorstep looking like it tried to tear apart the box in a desperate attempt to get free (there were actual parts of the elliptical completely exposed). I'm really impressed with the UPS driver, who somehow managed to lug this thing to my doorstep on his own - it's heavy. Really, really heavy. Which probably explains why the box was so torn up, now that I think about it. Regardless, figuring I had nothing to lose but time if it was damaged, I put it together. It took me at least an hour or so, but the finished product looked good. Of course, I jump right on and notice that it makes a grinding, rumbling sound whenever the flywheel moves (and yes, I made sure to remove the wood block and lessen the tension). Awesome. Amazon unsurprisingly wants me to disassemble it and ship it back before they refund me, and when I showed them how badly damaged the box was upon delivery, they told me to put it in another box. Call me crazy, but where am I going to find a box big enough for this without going to a specialty store and paying a fortune? Instead, I'm putting it back in the original and trying my best to Frankenstein it into something that will survive the trip back home. A one star review may sound harsh, but this is exercise equipment - it either works or it doesn't. And this doesn't. Oh, and one of the handles flew off and hit me square on the head when I was taking it apart in what was likely a final act of defiance from this blasted thing. I'm basically out three or four hours of my life and a LOT of packaging tape and have nothing to show for it. Learn from my mistakes.

Very pleased with this
After struggling with the decision of whether to drop down big bucks on an elliptical, we decided on this instead, not only because of price but also because it folds away to fit in a very small space. Assembly was simple, though I wish they hadn't been quite so enthusiastic tightening the cable ties. I managed to damage the finish on the main tube cutting one of them off. No matter. In all, it probably took less than half an hour, and that included looking for the scissors. The wrench and allen key needed are both included. It does not have adjustable resistance (though others have suggested wrapping a bungee cord around the levers), but I have not found that to be a problem. The first day, I did 20 minutes, and I couldn't walk properly for several days - killed my calves. After recovering from that, I built up gradually to my current 25 minutes a day, and I know I can do longer runs if I wish - my legs feel fine. I still manage to work up a sweat. I am now experimenting with working against myself - pushing or pulling on the arms instead of using my legs as the primary propulsion, and I can feel my arm muscles getting a workout. I rigged up a platform for my notebook, and I watch running/cycling/skiing helmet-cam videos as I listen to a podcast, and the time passes quickly. It makes working out more pleasant than going to the gym. I did find that the footrests are not as grippy as they might be. With walking shoes, my feet were sliding around a bit, but Crocs stick to them like glue. I haven't had any issues with the stomach pad, as others have mentioned: that probably depends on body geometry. For me, with a bad back and a really naff knee, this is better for me than running, and it's light and compact enough to take outside, should I wish to do so. The operation of the machine is very quiet, and the only issue I have had is that the bolts holding the arm levers in place started to loosen. I could hear and feel that they were not held on tightly, so I tightened them and no further problems. I check all the bolts from time to time. Anyway, so far so good. Not second-guessing the decision not to buy an elliptical bike for one moment.
