IM Fountain Pen | Dark Espresso | Medium Nib with Blue Ink Refill | Gift Box

Lovely pens, I’ve had three so far. I don’t use them too heavily but the last one snapped at the barrel. Previous versions haven’t had this issue so would recommend the style and type. Write well, are just the right weight and are easy to grip and doesn’t leave a mark on your finger.

I originally bought a Parker 51 but was extremely disappointed (the resin body scuffs permanently when you simply post the stainless steel cap) so I returned it and got the Parker IM instead. The box it comes in is no match for the 51's, which is very premium, but the pen itself is better quality, being made entirely of stainless steel - with no scuffing issue when posting the cap. It's a nice weight and well balanced, even with the cap posted, it writes well with no scratchiness or stalling, and the finish (I went for the Dark Espresso) is gorgeous. With the difference in price I was able to order the pen, an ink converter and two bottles of Quink for only 59p more than just the Parker 51.

So just received the Dark Espresso coloured Parker Fountain pen. It looks different to the one in the picture - in reality it is more a silver or lighter version of gun metal grey. Partly disappointed as Espresso is a coffee based drink so was expecting something even remotely brown, not silver. That said the pen itself is great. Has a nice weight to it, neither too heavy nor too light. I used to have a Parker fountain pen when at school and have completely forgotten how smooth it was to use. Great pen, excellent delivery - def something I can recommend if gifting for kids/young teens etc just be wary of the colour as it may not be exactly how you expected.

Comfortable to write with, a nice weight and size, a great pen! One thing to mention is that it isn't really 'espresso' coloured as per the description, more 'gunmetal grey' which was a bit disappointing.

I bought this pen to help with school work and I found it was amazing. The weight in your hand is balanced and comfortable to write with. I found the weight often helps form your words better. Ink is very flowy and seldom smudges. Runs out over a week or so. Needs to be replaced frequently. It is inexpensive though so it is not to worry.

I love this pen. I love Parker fountain pens. It writes beautifully after the nib was worn to my writing style. Great value at £24.99, but went to buy a second. Gone up to £44. No.

Wanted a fine nib pen but ended up receiving a medium nib. Nevertheless the pen is an excellent piece of writing instrument. The metal body is well shaped and weighted which makes writing a pleasure. The lacquer grip also contributes to the finesse. The brushed finish of the pen gives it a royal look. For ₹ 4750/- however, I find it a bit of an indulgence. Recommended if you want style and have some cash to burn!

Dieser Füllfederhalter liegt gut in der Hand, der Übergang vom Kolben zum Schaft ist zwar als kleine Stufe gestaltet, jedoch so gut abgerundet und gratfrei, dass er nicht stört. Die Feder in M schreibt sehr schön flüssig, ohne zu klecksen. Der Stift ist gut ausbalanciert, und zwar mit oder ohne aufgesetzte Kappe. Ich habe kleine Hände und bevorzuge eher schlanke Schreibgeräte, wie etwa den Jotter von Parker. Dieser Füller ist etwas dicker, liegt mir aber trotzdem sehr gut in der Hand, sodass ich ermüdungsfrei schreiben kann. Die Farbe Dark Espresso ist eher ein dunkles Taupe oder ein bräunliches Gunmetal-Grau. Sie ist von zurückhaltender Eleganz, absolut unisex und die verchromten Akzente passen sehr gut dazu. Das einzige, was mich wirklich gestört hat, ist die recht große Öffnung, die die Kappe unter dem Pfeilclip hat. Sie soll wohl verhindern, dass Kinder, die sich an der Kappe verschlucken, daran ersticken, vor allem führt sie aber dazu, dass die Tinte superschnell austrocknet. Ich habe dieses Loch fast unsichtbar mit einem passend zurechtgeschnittenen Streifchen Tesafilm verschlossen. Jetzt trocknet der Füller auch nach Wochen der Nichtbenutzung nicht mehr aus. Er schreibt auch nach längerer Pause sofort perfekt an. Passend zu diesem Füller habe ich auch den Kugelschreiber aus dieser Serie gekauft. Auch dieser sieht gut aus und liegt gut in der Hand. Seine Parker-Mine in M schreibt flüssig und ohne zu schmieren und ist bisher auch noch nicht ausgelaufen. Das ist mir vor einiger Zeit gehäuft mit Kugelschreiberminen von Parker passiert und hat mir die Mechanik verklebt. Im Set zwei zurückhaltende, elegante und sehr funktionstüchtige Schreibgeräte.
