The product is as described every contra game ever made but let's be honest 99% of us just want to put the code on for 30 men and beat the one contra game and I did that in about one hour... it's was game going back in memory lane but it was pricey

This doesn't necessarily come with ALL the Contra games. I actually like this collection quite a bit I felt like three games are the weakest part of this collection they should have just ripped out and replaced with the other Contra games. 'Super Robotector Alien Rebels' - 'Probotector' - 'and Operation C' (Japanese GameBoy port. ) 'Super Robotector Alien Rebels' - is the European version of 'Contra 3 Alien Wars' they ripped out all the characters and replace them with robots I watched a video on this and the guy says the reason being is because back in those days they thought it was just too violent but in the bonus book feature in this collection they don't mention that part at all. 'Probotector' - is the European version of contra hard corps and again ripped out the human characters and just replace them with robots I guess it's okay for the fans also because it's hard to find these versions but if they went the extra mile to put this on why didn't they go the extra mile to add the other Contra games? that's how I look at it. 'Operation C' JP ver. It's just the American version but the words are in Japanese it's literally the exact same version I don't know why they wanted to add that when the American version is already in the collection both the same games none are different it's a waste of cartridge space if you ask me again could have just added more other Contra games besides these three. Oh yeah one little nitpick I have too why didn't they add the bonus book as an actual book in the collection??? Why is it digital? I mean it looks like some love was put into this collection to be perfectly honest I'm shocked even Konami had the time to put this in (especially the Konami nowadays) I think fans would have liked it more if it was an actual physical version then maybe you could justify paying the 60 bucks but what you get here to be honest I can't justify the $60 why would I spend 60 bucks when I could just download it for $20 to top it off Nintendo has some crazy sales in the Nintendo store so really that $20 can be literally marked down to like 10 bucks...so if you don't want this i don't blame you. Games that could have been added: NeoContra Contra 4 Contra Legacy War (Ps1) and Even more they made. Fav Contra games in this collection: Contra Hard(Genesis) Contra 3 The Alien Wars (super famicom) and Orginal And of course the original arcade contra 1987 Overall this is actually a pretty cool collection definitely is overpriced and definitely they are missing some other Conra games I wish they did added because I didn't play those other Contra games like Contra 4 I heard really great things about which came out on the DS I believe 1-10 it would say this is a a solid 8/10 OH 1 last thing about this physical it comes with a manual which o thought was pretty cool I mean man it's so weird dude now a days companies seem like there dying out the whole video game manual think...I guess because if your stuck you can look up everything online? but man it still would be cool to have a nice THICK game manual.

It's a pleasant surprise to see Nintendo putting out games from the 90-s. This Contra collection includes a game I used to play as a teenager in the early 90-s: Contra 3. The screen is Full Screen - reminiscent of the old TV-s. Graphics are definitely upgraded but the games are harder than I remember. Overall, a nice addition to my Switch single/dual player collection.

It’s contra and a lot of it. The look and feel are great but so is the difficulty. I could not figure out how to get the great cheat codes from yesteryear to work. Just way too difficult for my advanced age without the assistance.
