Reliable, consistent, easy to use, easy to carry and excellent for v isually impaired
Pros: - Don't require a lancet tool. Lancet tools break, these don't - Consistent pool of blood and much fewer wasted test strips - Not as painful as other lancets I've used. - Each lancet comes in its own tiny self-contained plastic container If you put cap back on after use, it's like a tiny Sharps container. - I have advanced glaucoma and really struggle to use lancets that require a lancet tool. All I need to do to use a Fora lancet is take off the ap and squeeze the lancet between my thumb and the text finger. I can do it one-handed. I am legally bliund, not totally blind but I think a totally blind person would have no trouble doing it. Potential cons - I purchased these myself (3 100-count boxes about 13.5 cents per lancet). Many lancets that require a lancet tool are cheaper than that. - I don't know if Medicare will provide these lancets. Maybe yes, maybe no. I just got them a couple of weeks ago and haven't tried yet. For me, as a visually impaired user, it's definitely worth buying them myself . - Only one gae size & only one pressure. Works fine for me but I know that many lancet tools allow presure adjustments and presumably that is important to some users. Bottom line: these make my life SO MUCH EASIER at home and when I travel. Higholy recommended.

Excellent finger lancet and easy to use
Due to his significant hand tremors, my husband was struggling to fill the lancet holder with the small lancets that came with his blood glucose meter. This all-in-one lancet is much easier for him to use daily. The white caps remove easily and after use the lancet point is retracted so accidental pokes don't happen - there's nothing to recap. He really likes these lancets and their cost is very reasonable.

These are great lancets
I have tried a lot of different lancets in the past and I really like these because they are easy to handle and the ones that Iโve been using have been giving me a hard time making me bleed and then I have to use another one to stick to myself again and these are not too hard on the skin and they work well a little more expensive than the other ones but I really like these.

Works well
I was looking for a different kind of lancet that would not have to be put in the pen that comes with your usual diabetic meter kit. To me it was more steps getting it done since you have to take it apart & they break easily. I work in the medical field and I test blood a lot using a one time lancet, that doesn't hurt. I basically wanted something similar that the I use at work in the hospital. Reading the reviews, I was just a little bit concerned about it not going in far enough to get the small amount of blood needed for testing. I read numerous reviews all saying they didn't work. I decided to try them anyway. I had trouble getting a blood sample using the ones that came with my meter, so I figured I had nothing to loose. I don't know quite what to think about the reviews that said that they couldn't get a blood sample. I should have paid more attention to the length of the lancet because that's on me. But these lancets really go quite deep. I was extremely surprised by that! They definitely get plenty of blood - way more than needed! I was used to the one in my meter not getting enough for a sample that I was going towards the middle of my finger pad which isn't the correct place to actually do it. The side of your finger pad is the correct place and once I did that, it was the perfect amount, without pain, and no bruising. If you have more skin, & calluses then I would try going a bit more towards the center of your finger pad. I think just trying different places will give you a better experience and finding the right area for the amount you need to test.

Ouch
After using another brand of lancet for some time, I thought that I'd give these a try since they are the brand that we used on the ambulance when I was running calls as a volunteer EMT back in the day. Pros: They are self-contained and do not require a separate lancing device, which makes the process a bit more convenient. They are easy to use, just pop off the cover and press against a fingertip. The needle penetrates the skin and then retracts into the holder with no exposed needle to worry about after taking a blood sample. Con: Ouch. I say again: Ouch. I have a high tolerance for pain and do not flinch when doing my daily sticks, but these are so much more painful than the other brand that I boxed them up and put them on the shelf. I feel sorry for the patients we used these on.

These are a life saver!
My husband has been diabetic for years and we always used the lancet pens that come with the little blood sugar test kit. Every single one of those pens was a pain in the neck putting together and making it work. A home health nurse suggested these lancets. I'm seriously asking her to marry me...that's how darn happy I am! These lancets are extremely easy to use. I have rheumatoid arthritis and my hands are extremely damaged. These lancets are even easy for me to use. I highly recommend them!
